We’ve all been there: Your celery goes off in the crisper. Those fresh herbs suddenly aren’t looking so bright anymore. That crisp head of romaine, bought with the best of intentions, looks a bit sad by the time you set out to whip up a salad.
Don’t go green with envy over crisp, fresh greens. On the ninth day of our holiday countdown, we bring you this tip: Break out one of our large wraps and bundle up the greens in your refrigerator.
For potlucks. For visiting neighbors. For your-turn-to-bring snacks. For saving, and savoring, leftovers.
Bee’s Wrap: for covering up — and just as importantly, uncovering — meals meant for sharing.
A good hunk of cheese is a terrible thing to waste. Bee’s Wrap to the rescue! When it comes to saving a hunk of cheese, Bee’s Wrap is the bee’s knees. Don’t let your cheddar or mozzarella or parmesan disappear into the back of your refrigerator — or worse, go off before you reach for it again. Our sustainable food wraps are saturated with the natural antibacterial properties of beeswax. When sealed around a piece of cheese with the warmth of your hands, our wraps will help keep your cheese fresh.
Looking for a gift for the cheese fiend in your life? We love the idea of pairing one of our small wraps with a cutting board, cheese knife, or best yet, some of your favorite cheeses.
We’re counting down the days until Dec. 16 — the last day to order Bee’s Wrap with guaranteed delivery by Christmas — with Twelve Days of Bee’s Wrap. On this fifth day of our countdown, we turn our eyes to the littlest Bee’s Wrap fans in our lives.
Bee’s Wrap is made to stand up to little hands and heavy use. Use it to bundle up snacks when you head out of the house. Swap it for plastic wrap or plastic baggies when you’re packing a lunch. Our larger wraps can also double as placemats for meals on the go, or as easy-to-clean mats when you break out the play dough. And when it’s all said and done, just wash, dry and reuse — it’s as simple as that.
Winters here in Vermont are long and cold — which is exactly why we love to break out our clover print wraps as the days grow short. In “Mimi’s Purple,” these cheerful wraps brighten up our refrigerators, our lunch boxes and our kitchens. We recommend the sampler pack — which includes one each of our small, medium, and large wraps — as an excellent way to introduce friends and family to the idea of our sustainable food wraps. These wraps can take on any number of food storage jobs in the kitchen, from wrapping up half a lemon to covering a bowl of leftovers. And they’ll look good while they’re doing it, too.

The Bee’s Wrap Cycle
Sustainability is one of our core values at Bee’s Wrap. It’s why we started this business: Looking for ways to eliminate plastic bags and wraps in our lives, we turned to a natural and biodegradable alternative.
Why is this important? As a society, we consider plastic to be disposable — and yet its life on this plant is a long one. Plastics leach harmful toxins into our groundwater, and plastic particles can be ingested by marine animals and wildlife. Phthalates, used to make many plastics for food storage, have been found to have adverse effects in people and animals, particularly their reproductive systems. Nearly everyone has some quantitative measure of these in their bodies.
Bee’s Wrap’s commitment to sustainability follows our products from cradle to grave. We use 100 percent natural and biodegradable ingredients — which means that after a year or so, when your Bee’s Wrap needs to be replaced, you can dispose of your old wraps with a clear conscience. Simply cut up the fabric into scraps, add them to your compost heap, and let nature take the lead.
A little Bee’s Wrap package, tied up with string — this is one of our most favorite things.
Give our sandwich wrap to the busy family on the go or the brown-bagger who packs a lunch every day. Kids and grown-ups alike will love unwrapping a meal packaged with care — and if you’re eating on the go, the wrap makes a great placemat. You can win not one but two sandwich wraps in our holiday baking giveaway!
We’re counting down the days to December 16, the last day to order for guaranteed delivery by Christmas. Stock up on stocking stuffers, cross those hard-to-buy-for relatives off your list, or treat yourself to a tool you’ll use again and again in your kitchen in the year to come.
