The bag of frosting is soft and pliable in his hand, pleasing to grip. He picks up his first cupcake with his left hand and readjusts his grasp on the piping bag in his right. Remus’s hand is shaking all of a sudden, something he usually doesn’t have any issue with, but he simply sighs and leans down a little to steady it against the high table. And then…he gives the bag a little squeeze. Or: single dad Remus takes a cake decorating class. It does not go well. Featuring clumsy mishaps, friendship, cute babies, and maybe a little romance.

wolfstar are amicably co-parenting their teenage son, however after some bad health news Remus asks Sirius to take Teddy full time while he's dealing with that and treatment/recovery etc. Sirius instead proposes they temporarily move back in together so Teddy isn't without one parent and Sirius can help out with Remus' medical appointment. Forced proximity, meddling teddy (and probably james and harry as well), angst and domestic fluff, exes to friends to lovers <3

I guess being accepted and loved as you are is a big one. And I like writing about it, too. I also like writing about mental health issues and vulnerability

This is one of my tumblr requests from however many months back haha. I got burnt out when I was writing it, so I've been stuck. It’s established relationship, but Remus is absolutely convinced that James and Sirius actually don't love him at all and are in fact going to break up with him, and then he has a breakdown about it when they're supposed to have sex.

Here’s a little snippet:

Remus didn’t know how he hadn’t noticed it sooner, because after he knew what he was looking for, the signs were all there. Sirius and James would lean their heads closer to speak to each other in such a low tone that Remus couldn’t make out their words. Sirius and James would hug each other longer than they hugged Remus, would kiss each other more passionately than they kissed Remus, and they had the mirrors they’d had since Hogwarts, always reaching out for each other for the smallest reasons. Sometimes they would whisper to each other while throwing covert glances at Remus, and Remus’s skin itched as he thought about what they must be saying about him.

Remus understood them. If it were him, he wouldn’t want to be in a relationship with himself when James and Sirius were the option. It must have been hard for them to even be friends with Remus, and it must be harder to be in a relationship with him. He was so difficult and so boring, not wanting to go out clubbing or drinking, not liking big crowds, not liking public displays of affection—and then there was the lycanthropy.

Why would anyone want to date him?
