It’s been a little over a month and a half since Thor’s congestive heart failure diagnosis. Overall he’s doing well and is still my happy boy, though his exercise is extremely restricted per doctor’s orders. It’s taken a lot of medication adjustments and those will continue as I work with his vets to fine tune is treatment. He’s on 5 medications and they are all doing their part to keep him feeling well. If you missed the memo and you have a dog , please research the relationship between potatoes and legumes ( peas, lentils, chick peas , etc) in dog food and congestive heart failure ( specifically dilated cardio myopathy). Even his cardiologist blames his food.
