👻🎃HALLOWEEN COUNTDOWN🎃👻 . Day 5 (catch up) October 31, 1998 . Ah this year. This was the year I got myself a case of walking pneumonia without realizing it and I was so sick that I could barely keep myself upright most of the time. I didn’t want to ruin the Chibi’s Halloween, so I pushed through like a champ and made the day awesome. I’d lost a lot of weight in a very short time due to how sick I was, and decided to have a go at Sakura’s opening dress since I’d recently gotten my hands on the very first Clow Key staff import toy (cost me 200 and some change due to import fees and the yen to usd conversion at the time, but it’s 1:1, electronic and I never regretted it). I’d also really gotten into Kaitou St. Tail and had gotten ahold of her jewel staff as well (still have it to this day actually), so I decided the Chibi should be a smol St. Tail because she’d already cosplayed Sakura in 96. I do have more pics of her in this costume, along with the staff, etc, but they’ve gone missing in the way of a bunch of others and I’m unable to find them right now. Sadly. Still, she looks damn cute in this, even if our old 35mm felt like washing her out to heck for its own mysterious reasons. P.S. I have so much makeup on my face in these pics because I was trying hard to hide how sickly I looked. I guess it worked since the Chibi tells me that while she knew I was sick (mostly later after it’d gone on for nearly a year and I’d gotten to the point where I was in so much pain that I was crying half the time), she says she never realized just how sick I was on this Halloween because of how fun I’d made the night (we went to her first haunted house in Queen Ann before hitting up the mall to trick or treat and she loved it).
