Finally new mushroom content!! While up visiting my boyfriend’s parents, I saw these out the car window on the drive from the station and walked back to the neighbouring village the next day to pick them up.

These are older than most people would gather them - they’re quite tough - but I love their light, floral, almost melon-ey flavour so much that I’ll eat em anyway (with fried courgette flowers from the garden).

Repost Morning! Well this week has been a bit of a shock to the system - all kids back at school which means my school run is across 3 counties and over 600 miles a week - things you do for your little darlings 🙄🤣❤️ I won't comment about the serious lack of specialist SEN provision in the UK - except I just have but needless to say that's why I have a mammoth school run and could fuel a whole new ranty account 🙄🤣 This may potentially be the last wall mural post - in real time anyway as we won't be here next summer but I'm pretty sure it won't be the last mural I paint and I'm quite excited about that! In other news - I should find out about the studio space next week (🤞🤞) and I'm picking up a new car (well new to me anyway 😁) because I'm sick and tired about my giant boys moaning about lack of leg room, head room, everything room in the back of my lovely little Fiat 500.
