As much as I get palegun, hear me out: Homebar.

Both the bar guy and protag are cynical, sarcastic and fairly antisocial people. They could complain about the world TOGETHER. They could push each other to be better TOGETHER. ALSO THINK ABOUT THE PROTAGONIST SEEING THE SAME FIRST PERSON HE KNOWS IS SAFE DIE OVER AND OVER AGAIN IN DIFFERENT WAYS. (Very inspired by “Beer Day” on ao3 read it.)

Dead Man’s Tale - A Destiny Inspired Cocktail

If you have ever fired the Dead Man’s Tale in Destiny 2, it is a crispy scout rifle. This cocktail is my attempt to make the perfect margarita. Its complex, tart, with a kick to stun a Cabal.

Dead Man's Tale Quatro Citrico Simple Syrup 2 oz Lime Juice 2 oz Lemon Juice 2 oz Meyer Lemon Juice 2 oz Orange Juice 8 oz Agave Nectar 8 oz Sugar

Combine all ingredients in a small sauce pan, heat gently until sugar is melted. cool and put in a container for later use.

Dead Man's Tale Margarita 2 oz Repasado Tequila 1.5 oz Quatro Citrico Simple Syrup 0.5 oz Fresh Lime Juice (about half a lime) 0.5 oz Triple Sec 0.5 oz Grand Marnier 0.5 oz Cointreau Garnish Salt Rim

Combine All ingredients in a cocktail shaker. Shake vigorously with ice for 20 seconds. Pour and strain drink into a Collins glass filled with Ice and a salted rim. Enjoy!
