The doll I just made as a commission for @corariley is on the left, my original Rey doll is on the right. I couldn't get over how cute they were together, like 2 long lost twin sisters. lol

I'm so excited to finally post photos of the completed Rey doll I was commissioned by @corariley to create for her! Thank you so much for being so patient, encouraging and such a pleasure to collaborate with. This Rey doll is made from a Made To Move Mattel doll Barbie and I repainted her face, restyled her hair and created her grey vest outfit stitching all her clothes by hand. I'm so thrilled with how she turned out and I know her new owner will love her.
I wanted to post one last set of photos of this doll set to really showcase how beautiful they look in their new costumes and box. This doll set I got to complete as a commission for my Instagram friend Kenn who goes by prince.hansu. In these photos you really get to see the details of the display box, it has clear plastic castle towers on each side which is such a perfect added touch. I love the details of their vintage costumes. I repainted both dolls, restyled Aurora’s hair and gave her real eyelashes. I made the ribbon rose she is holding and repainted her crown. I also made her a ruffly, lace-trimmed pink underskirt to keep her gown full. Please message me if you have any requests for commissions. @disneydollscollectiblesandmore @disneydollrecreations @mydisneycreations @mmdisney200 @love-disney-dolls @disneydollydame @disneydollsanddreams @disneydollscollectibles @elsasnowqueen1313 @dreamaker-disneyooaks @minnerida @avengerartist @maxxiefactor
My friend from Instagram who goes by prince.hansu commissioned me to make him a doll set of Aurora and Philip. A while back I posted a similar set I had made for myself using a vintage doll set for the box and costumes. I replaced the old dolls and added repainted Disney Store Aurora and Philip dolls. @prince.hansu liked my set so much that he commissioned me to make one for him. He had some slight changes he wanted. We used the newer Disney Store dolls, so his Philip has a different head mold than mine. He wanted his Aurora doll with red lips and real eyelashes, so she turned out a very different version than my first repainted Aurora doll. It's so fun to compare them both. Aurora's crown has been repainted. I made her ribbon rose she holds and a full, lacy pink underskirt for her. I also curled and restyled her hair. Please message me if you have any commission requests.

Here's a better look at the hairstyle I made for my Rey doll. At first I struggled with trying to wrap her hair into three little buns, but then I remembered a wonderful hair tutorial I had saved on my Pinterest on how to make a permanent up do bun for dolls and I used those methods to make her three buns really secure. Rey hasn't been repainted yet. I'm still working on her clothes first. I'm using the Made to Move doll by Mattel and I'm really pleased by how well she can bend and pose. I'll post the link to the tutorial site: https://insidethefashiondollstudio.com/2011/10/21/an-updo-hair-tutorial/?blogsub=confirming
Little sneak peek of my next project. The Customizing Force Awakens. 😉
