Its hard to explain to people why I never have any money. All summer I help pay part of my mother's bills and my own, as well as groceries. I get paid every week yes, but it's usually only around 260.00 By sunday I've spent 60 on groceries so I can stock up, I've have to give gas money to whoever drives me places and when I'm not carpooling I have to take the bus or lyft. I also need to have money on hand in case I need food at work. The money goes fast by Thursday bc common items have raised their prices so drastically. I don't go to the movies, the mall, out to eat or anything fun that people my age do. I go to work, go to the gym, take the bus everywhere (which takes a couple hours altogether) then go home to do all of the maintenance there. The two nights a week I go out to see friends perform is my release. Do I need my own place? My own car? Yes. It will come in due time. I just have to keep working. I'd love to have rehearsals for my shows to perfect them bc right now they suck. We all start somewhere. I just hope by next year all this grunt work is worth it.
