Wedding Photo Is A Trap 🤭

Honest My Dream Wedding Malaysia Review

There're many available add ons traps waiting for you. I believe this is the same for any other wedding photo company.

1) Add on platinum gowns. Price range from RM700 and up for one piece.

2) Add on for extra photo. Printed copy is RM160 each. Softcopy RM100.

Basically the above two are my expected scenario. That's how they earn from you, but when I choose photo. Here's one of the unexpected situation.

3) Additional page will cost more.

My package includes

40 poses - 12x15inch 10P album

19 poses (duplicate) - 8x12inch album

The catch is all 40 photos must fit into 10 page. I asked if I can put 20 only they say cannot. Therefore maybe one page will have 4 photos depending how they arrange the layout since some ar portrait some are landscape. So in the end you'll have no choice but to pay more to make the album look nicer.

My tips apply to all studio

Do not sign up immediately at wedding fair.

Compare the price and package offer from different company so that you have a rough idea on how's the market rate. Visit their studio to check out the gowns selection first.

Decide how many photo you need.

Some sudio offers all softcopy returns at a fixed price. Maybe no touch up provided but good as collection.

Check the album maximum pages.

For my case, i didn't pay attention that they have stated 10p limit. No point even they give me 100 photos if add page need top up.

Whether they provide actual day gown and suits

If they provide gowns. You can save thousands, average to rent one gown is RM500 very simple one and up depending the designs. Men suit is RM250 and up.

Haggle and ask for more gift such as bigger frame. Extra sets of gowns, more photo etc. I manage to get 1 extra gown for shooting, 1 extra kua and men's suit. From 30 to 40 photos.

Overall I'm happy with they service. Staff are friendly and helpful. They are not that hard sale but still you'll end up pay more for extra upgrades.
