“You mean everything to me.” ((From whoever you want!))
“Do I? Everything?” Keith had been standing out on the balcony of their shared apartment, violet-blue eyes looking out over the barren planet they were calling home in the moment. His hair was blowing in the slight breeze of space, nothing but a loose red robe hanging on his shoulders as he leaned over the balcony a bit, enjoying what he had once loved. Space. The universe. The unknown. It had all seemed to beautiful, intoxicatingly exciting. And now, he was a cheap stripper on a planet for some low-life aliens. What had happened? What had changed, from him being the best pilot in the Garrison?
He turned to Lotor, shaking his head with a slight chuckle, resting his head against the older’s chest. “There’s no way I mean everything. You have bigger wants than me. I can feel it in you. You still want to rule an Empire, don’t you? Much more than being here in some dingy apartment with a fallen paladin.” He glanced up to meet the taller’s eyes, snorting. “I don’t fault you for that. You were greedy, you wanted to have power. Control. You still do. I can sense that. But, that means I’m hardly everything. You don’t feel fulfilled in life. Being in hiding, an ex-Prince like you are.”
