I'm going to post "secret files" that I saved but never planned to put up hehe a couple of drawings of Palette that I had done around 2017 and never published.

the ''secret files'' They were sketches of ideas I had intended to include in his character sheet, but in the end, I said, "Oh no, it's too much, too much work," and if I did, it would take longer to finish and would only delay the project; so I pulled them out.

"Palette throwing paintballs at other kids" was my idea of ​​Palette as an impulsive, mischievous child. But that comes from a very different story I'd previously conceived, where he grew up in an orphanage without knowing who his parents were.

Honestly, it's the one I liked the most at the time. I had an idea for him to be "a star knight."

------- This is a "special" one. It was the first thing I thought of when I wanted to start making his character sheet. He can't consume/eat ink because he enters a state of "stasis" while his body tries to heal from the severe damage, since the ink tries to dilute the paint, which is what his body is mostly made of. He does crazy things with a lot of energy and doesn't remember anything after that.

I just saw the pictures of Palette with his bazooka, and I have a couple of questions. 1. Does Palette still have access to his roller weapon in cases where he needs to fight more defensively (akin to how Dream's staff can change forms), or does he only use the bazooka now? 2. The second picture has him slamming down the bazooka in the same manner as a hammer; is it designed to be used that way (for blunt force melee as well as mid/long range projectile attacks in the form of ink bullets)?

1- No, he doesn't have access, the bazooka is an instrument, it can't change shape. The roller was also an instrument. He will only use his bazooka now.

2- You are right! The bazooka is designed to hit if he needs to defend up close (or hit physically). But it main attack is from a distance, with paint bullets, which Palette generates with his magic. The bazooka only helps his attacks have more range and power.

[Extra fact (since it's from the same topic): Palette has a second weapon, which is generated by his own magic. It's a sword, he uses it only in special moments. It has the same functionality as the Dream's arrows.]

Important announcement.

I think it's about time I say this, I've been putting it off for months now: I'm retiring from the Undertale fandom.

Nothing bad happened, don't worry, it's just that… I don't want to draw anymore. Yeah, it's just that… I have no reason to keep drawing anymore. I've already completed what I needed and my final goal was "Palette's character sheet". This blog will still be here, along with all its information, so it won't go anywhere. I thank all the people who loved my boy and all those who cheered me up since last year by making really funny fanart of Palette (and Rurik with Dante too.) I love you all from the bottom of my heart ♡

This is goodbye. Thank you for so many years together. I love you all 💕 (There's a fleeting chance I'll post something on my main blog, but most likely it'll be me selfshipping or maybe a lost drawing of the human versions of my ocs. But don't expect too much.)

I wanted to ask about Rurik; did you ever have any canon/headcanon ideas on what his magic/abilities would be if he didn't have issues with his magic? I recall you saying that Dante was researching Rurik's magic problems and that his magic had something to do with his advanced vision allowing him to aim and hit a target no matter how far away it is, so it sounded like you at least had something in mind.

That's right. I had some things in mind. I'll try to remember: -His aim is perfect. So no matter what kind of object he threw, he would always hit. -He would create a light weapon to shoot with. I was still unsure whether to use a crossbow or a pistol, but the pistol was what I was most convinced of (because it fit his aesthetic better). And maybe an elegant and stylized one. -Create portals. His portals would have a particular star-shaped form, reflecting his tough and sharp personality. (Unlike Palette, who are simple and round) -Rurik would have a very strong and destructive energy, but very precise. That would balance his power. (Instead of going in many directions, he only focuses on one point) -I think I remember that his power was complementary to Dante's abilities, but I don't remember in what. (I just know that Dante's poison abilities fit with what Rurik did.)

On the other hand, I apologize profusely about Palette's character sheet, I can never finish it. When I do something, it no longer convinces me and the design of his clothes still doesn't convince me, although I think lately I have something that convinces me more.

Palette de niño fue desmadroso... pobres sus padres (pero es el precio a pagar de Ink(?)). Juguetón, alegre pero muy bromista. Se metía con los demás tirandoles cosas y salía corriendo. Su imperactividad lo hacia meterse en peligro siempre. Pero era muy bueno y obediente, aunque sus arranques de energia eran impredecibles. Amaba y le calmaba ver el mar y los peces.
