This is so so so far in my fic but somewhen I want to write Celine and Hayoon having this conversation -

Hayoon: I mean, since you're a virgin, then-

Celine: I'm not.

Hayoon: you're not?!?!

Celine: no. I had sex before, why did you think I didn't?

Hayoon: First of all, you said you didn't have sex since before Rumi was born. Second of all, we lived together since we were fifteen, I'd like to think I'd notice. You did you even...

Celine: Shi-won and I had something for a long time. Not romantic, though. And the Japanese backdancer from our Stars tour, if you remember her. We didn't kept contact after the tour ended, but she was nice. I think my first one was the girl who didn't debuted in V.O.X in the end, when we were nineteen.

Hayoon:

I have the mental image of Celine sitting on the soffa focused on a book or sm while Miyeong is basically dropped over her and chawing her ear like. Full on nibbling it like a cat. Celine doesn't even acknoledge it. And it's give me a headache but I don't know how to put it in a fanfic. Also it's important that they aren't dating when Miyeong do it.

Oh yeah! Honestly, A long ramble ahead , but I'm a sucker for dog metaphors, esp about Celine. Sometimes about retried hound dog who no longer fit to service but yearn to be leased and claimed? Sometimes about how when my pretty religious neighbors' (well, more religious than my family is. Still not falling into the ultra-orthodox category, tho) old beloved dog died, they didn't bury him bc it was hours before Shabbat , so he was only buried 28-29 hours after his death. Something about how the devotion is more important than your life. Something about the longing to be recognized as someone's.

But this aside, when I'm talking about my main Kpdh universe, I like to write the Mieline dynamic ( When it's the good side of the coin, they loved each other as healthily as they could. Assually with side dish of Polylight, for some reason when I try to write Mieline without Polylight it come out as super angsty toxic yuri) as a dynamic that looks like one thing at first glance but then when you look closer it's actually very different than your first impression? Especially when it's an outsider's POV (not thirdlight POV, she knows them better than that), it's viewed as a typical Sunbaenim-Hubae dynamic. Miyeong is younger, more friendly and unburdened by their duties. She's very extroverted and easy-going, and her kindness (In others' eyes) can be easily mistaken for naivety.

Celine is viewed as introverted only by close people. Most people tend to view her as someone cold and stoic. She's the leader and the oldest, and in the general Polylight dynamic, she's very much the leader, from overworking herself to controlling their public image to being the main strategist and most head -first into battle in hunts.

Both Celine and Hayoon take their unnie role seriously. Miyeong is the Maknae, so she must be protected.

It also came from their family life! Celine was the oldest child in truobleous family, while Hayoon was the middle child who was much closer in age to her big brothers than to her little brothers, and her family had to face the racism that came with having African-American blood in the 70s-80s South Korea. Meanwhile, Miyeong was the only child and the only granddaughter, and her mother's death in young age and her father's illness made her father and after his death her grandmother very protective of her. So Miyeong came off to people who met her for the first time as someone sheltred and a bit naive.

But Miyeong isn't naive. Growing up, she always had death above her head, because of her father. She learned to be overly independent and is bad, bad at communicating her feeling and needs because again, growing up the fucos was mainly on her father's survival to the next days, and you can't complain to someone who fight for his life about your school drama, right?

So she's more independent and capable than Hayoon and Celine treat her as, and it also play a big role on why she fell for Shin- she liked being treated as equal. For once, she had the full power in the relationship - Shin is a demon, she's a demon hunter. ( They were pretty lovely and healthy couple, all things considered, but you can't have a Prey-hunter relationship without a little toxicity) .

Celine always had a soft spot for Miyeong. Celine is a defender, always has been, she was a hunter before she was an idol. She's love Miyeong, a lot, and it come out in a lot of fear, because she knew how it feels to lost people she loves to demons. But also, Celine is very much an outsider. She was an unwanted child, and half - white in the very traditional environment of hunters and Jeju in general. She want to be good, to belong, even if she thinks she doesn't deserve it. So she's a defender, a fight, but also, in her core, her biggest want was always to be "worthy" of love.

So Miyeong want control and regonction of her power, and Celine want to be praised and released from her duties, if only for a short moment. They didn't have sex in the universe, but if they had, Miyeong for 100% top the moment they'll get comfortable with it. Celine would feel uncomfortable to be a bottom at first, as someone who grew up with 'the oldest have to take care of the youngers' hard, and also again, she's a defender, she want to take care. When she top, I believe it's absolutely service top. But when she get comfortable, Miyeong can get power and control of her leader in entrivoment they're both comfortable with being different than their camera and battle dynamics. It'll make them feel good, it'll give both of them what they want.

Ok I wrote all of this. I think a demon posses me bc wtf. I don't had so much thoughts about Polylight bed dynamic I promise
