been wanting to do @myfirstoc‘s art meme for a little while, but i’ve been a little uninspired. this honestly really helped me get back into the drawing mood again and now i feel like doing more of these ^-^

I wanted to try it and since I havent drawn MGBelle yet this year might as well use her! Ahh I remember the old days when I exclusively drew digitally with a mouse :’)

I wanted to do this meme from @myfirstoc​ with Dyvaun/Dee~ He’s a really special OC to me; my first “main” character and I used him for years. His design was always changing, but it’s basically this. Actually, according to the image, this was his fifth revision, done in 2010. I really wish I had even older art of him, but I always deleted old files then :( I also wished I still had him; I was scammed out of the actual pet on neopets years ago though & it’s still sad...

Anywho, I recently decided to revamp his character to one of a generic furry oc since I don’t get on neo anymore. A bit has changed in his personality, but not much actually. It’s more of a “few years later” kinda revamp, but with somethings totally changed.

I never wrote down the dates of my old comics but they were from elementary school so I made a guess on the years

I ended up just redoing the entire universe I made for this character and it’s really cool now.

MyfirstOC meme! This actually isn’t the oldest drawing of Burne I have, but it’s the first drawing I did of her in a human form. Believe it or not her first design was a cat lol. I didn’t feel like moving picture off my IPad where I have my first drawing of her so have this instead.

I decided against the bio because I didn’t feel like writing it out, I’ll just say she’s an alien that lives in a persons head? the simplest way I can describe it. I’m planning on making a webcomic this summer about her and her best friend Fern so I’ll explain more then!

I did the @myfirstoc‘s super old oc challenge with one of my favorite old ocs, Charlie. It’s been so long since I’ve drawn him, let alone acknowledged his existence ;; It was so fun to do! I had a blast doing it, and I recommend it to anyone else who has old ocs. I just might do it again with an even older oc huhuhu

Anyone who knows me from @artmemesarchive knows that I love them, so what better way to kick off this blog than with an art challenge! Also, despite this blog's name, it’s not necessarily about first ones specifically!  Any old oc will do.  The difference can be from months to years, but the longer ago it was created the better the transformation!

For this challenge, paste an old drawing of the character in the box (can be traditional, scanned, photographed, digital, mspaint, whatever!) on the Original half, then fill out the form. Afterwards, update the character! Make them new! Draw a picture with your improved skills! Update their bio and information! Reflect on your improvement and changed tastes.
