Here is the oldest plant in my apartment. This is my pin cushion cactus. It’s survived being in an enclosed terrarium (🙃), a college art piece, The mealy bug infestation of 2014, and relocating it a million times in the apartment. It now grows happily alongside other cacti and succulents that I keep in my bedroom. It serves as a good reminder of where I started in my plant journey. I never took my plant parent hood experiences lightly. Every mistake was as important as my accomplishments.
