Gidi Fest presents #MyGidi: Mini-documentary exploring the changing perceptions of Lagos:

Today sees the launch of #mygidi, a new minidocumentary about Lagos, and the experience of several individuals exploring the vibrant Nigerian city for the first time.

The 20 minute programme immerses the viewer in a journey of life changing experiences shared by the range of guests, artists and content creators, and captures their changing perception of Africa over the course of a 7 day trip.

In 2018, Eclipse Live and 84 Project set out to show the beauty and diversity of modern-day Africa, in the bid to change the narrative and change perceptions by showing overlooked sides to a thriving, vibrant city/continent.  In partnership with the Gidi Culture Festival, a group of curious travelers was invited to experience Lagos, for the first time.
