Bakugan has always felt like a sister show of MFB to me … i grew up with both. but unlike MFB, I had lost a lot of memories of it .
I had only seen the first 2 seasons(? bc im unsure i had seen the first at all) and ive not checked the other seasons yet, i will in due time.
to be perfectly honest, I feel very frustrated by this show. I did not enjoy the first season at all, I am furious at how the female characters are treated. the writing is all over the place OMG STOP WITH THE FACE CLOSE UP and the battling system is confusing … which is a not a good thing when its the basic of the show.
but what its worth, i enjoyed S2 a LOT more. I appreciated the battle system rework and its secondary characters and SPECIALLY the villains.
I walked into this rewatch excited to learn more about Gus and spectra … but i found myself DESPISING THEM ;;;
my dear Mira especially, suffered a lot from constantly being in spectra's shadow … who felt insufferable on how much the show tried to make him unapologetically villainous and irredeemable, just to .. redeem him ??? and I have trouble forgiving Gus for what he did to Brontes and Volt ..
I Adored Vold and Brontes .. they were a delight to watch and im upset the show got rid of them … I love the Vexos group , they're a really fun antagonist team .. but THEY WERE DONE so dirty in the end .. did they REALLY HAD TO all die ???? even LYNC ??? who was just a babyy ????
oh and shadow was absolutely amazing .. everything about him is wonderful … im mad at mylene for what she did to brontes but for what its worth, she was a very good irredeemable villain <3
I love the vestal character a lot … im focusing on the vexos here but my only memory of this show was Baron Leltoy .. he's everything to me and i remember rage quitting this show as a kid when he left …
i will keep watching .. i want to see what else happens .. I love Ren Krawler and Jake Vallory so far .. they sounds sweet and familliar ..<3
In my AU, Mylene performed surgeries and experiments on dozens of victims. If a victim didn't survive, she would have the body incinerated. Her victims were typically homeless people, those without family, or the mentally ill, so no one ever suspected her. She had intended to operate on Shun while he was still alive, but he managed to escape before she could do so.
