So I met this guy almost 20 years ago and well people had their comments and opinions on how and where we would end up but none of that mattered to us. From the time we found out that we had a baby coming Moses has always taken care of us, I couldn’t have asked for a better partner in crime umm I mean life. I truly believe that my angels in heaven knew I needed him when they sent him to me. In the last almost 20 years we have grown and learned life lessons together. Two years ago we packed up our little shack we were living in and moved to grandma's house, this was a big move for us. In all the years we've been together it had always just been Moses, Val and I. It went from just the 3 of us to a house full of people. It has been a struggle but so worth it. We set a goal and stuck to it! We finally paid off my car, I got a full time job and we sacrificed a lot of family time which sucked but all our sacrifices are finally paying off. Today my love gave me an early birthday present. You know that young guy who showed up all those years ago just bought me a house! 2019 started out a little rough. We’ve missed out on so much this year. We’ve missed out on family parties, weddings, school functions for my nieces and nephews. One of the hardest is not being home to help my baby boy with homework but he’s so smart and continues to make proud. You know we didn’t even make it to the beach once this summer and Moses and I love the beach! Another of the hardest is we just plain and simple miss out in each other. My Moses working 2 jobs my Val working up to 3 jobs at a time, I’ve been working full time 6 days a week for almost 5 months now but all the sacrifices will get us to where we need to be. We’re almost there!!! 2 years of no sleep, almost 2 years of working 2 jobs .. a few set backs to our plans but one of his major goals accomplished!
