Fine
Okay, so this is one of the most frequently asked questions when it comes to human interactions. And recently it has come to mind quite a lot. So I decided to perform a simple experiment with the children & teens I’m working with, I just ask that question an try to memorize the answers.
And you know what ?almost all of them were the same, not difficult to guess:
‘’Fine’’
You know, I always thought that fine is a magic word, it is riddle material and now i’m gonna show you why
‘’What is the word in which one can say everything and anything at all?’’
Yeah, you got it right , fine.
This answer is a good foundation for the second question:
‘’ How’s that?’’ , and I keep staring at them while they do the same in the ‘’ she-is-crazy-or-what’’ way but i just remind silent while looking at them . Now the responses are a bit different and can be classified in 2 ways:
1.-Don’t know
2.-* shrugs *
(or both)
So it is quite curious that lots of them are not conscious about why they are feeling that way, how their body reacts , how it changes their perception. But in contrast, they are expected to know how to behave in certain places, and be able to control and manage their own body and mind. And then it is my turn to ask a general question: How?
Still, it looks like #1 priority in their life has to be getting good grades, it doesn’t matter what you feel, you have to get good grades. Because in the end that is the true form of happiness…..right?
