@myouiari: where we left off.
—- her expression remained straight when she watched her elder friend hysterically run aroud in the living room of the twice dorm. who would know the cute and adorable leader of the group red velvet was scared of a small rat? probably everyone, and it didn’t seem like a secret. but the small creature which seemed to have scared joohyun to what seemed like death was not a rat, but mina’s small kitten, tuna, who had grown up into recieving the size of a bigger rat by now. the sight was hilarious but even though it was like so, mina did’t seem to be able to bring herself to laugh, perhaps she felt some kind of sympathy for the elder, as mina also was scared for rats and all kinds of otehr small animals. ❝ u-unnie… ❞ mina began speaking as she lifted up the kitten from the floor and onto mina’s lap, she couldn’t risk it ending up underneath the elder’s feet. ❝ it’s now a rat! it’s my kitten and i promise she is nothing like a rat, she is quite cute and nice, unless you are mean to her. but i’m sure she isn’t offended that you called her rat. i mean – i would be, but tuna isn’t like that. ❞ and finally, mina allowed herself to laugh at the humourous situation, covering her mouth ith her palms in the process to muffle down the laughter somewhat.
Adrenaline coursed through the petite woman’s veins as a creature with an uncanny semblance to a rat made its appearance, having her sprinting behind the couch and demolishing her mostly serene expression in exchange for a more petrified one. Joohyun did not like animals, much less ones who bring about a ton of unknown diseases. When the creature further revealed itself, however, a gust of awkwardness suddenly blew by her. Did she offend Mina by calling her pet a rat? Or did she offend the cat for calling it such a creature? Either way, Joohyun still wasn’t going to go near Mina’s pet. Having a slight fear of every animal in the book did that to you. “I...’m sorry?” A sheepish smile is seen adorning the older woman’s face right as she watched her friend laugh the situation off, slowly making her way to sit on the couch she was previously hiding behind, right across from Mina who had her pet sitting across her lap as she fondly pets its soft fur. “I genuinely thought it was this...really huge rat.” Her tone still contained an air of shame, though she tries her best to conceal it through her expression. “Tuna’s not mad? Really? Though if I’m going to be honest here, I’m still slightly afraid of Tuna.” She chuckles nervously.
