2 - Do you think you could ever have an abortion if you unexpectedly turned up pregnant right this second?
Well, that WOULD be unexpected!
I’ve given abortion a lot of thought in the past but at the end of the day, I’ve always said “I respect the decision the woman has to make". Could I personally do it? Probably not. I love kids and have always wanted some of my own, and even if my situation was less than stellar, I’d probably still go through with it.
5 - Is there a situation where you caved into peer pressure and regretted it?
Well… yeah. Though as I said before, it wasn’t peer pressure, it was subtler than that. It was laying out the options and saying, “You don’t have to do this, and we won’t judge you if you don’t, but this is what we’re gonna do". I mean, when you’re not faced with something that’s obviously aggressively persuasive, and if the people you’re with are doing it… why the hell not? A lot of the teenage experimentation came about through that weird subtle persuasion.
8 - Have you ever been in a relationship that was going great, and then suddenly something weird happened and you just KNEW it was going to be over soon?
No, (except for one instance) I’m always the last to know that it’s about to be over.

It wasn’t really peer pressure, because I wasn’t pressured into doing it. It was more like, “This is what we’re doing. You don’t have to if you don’t want to, but the option’s open for you". Maybe it was a really subtle kind of peer pressure, I dunno.
3 - If you were far from home and needed to sleep for the night, would you choose to rent a crappy motel room for $60 or sleep in your car for free?
If I had a car, I’d probably choose the car.
6 - What is your favourite video game console? Why?
PlayStation 3. I had an Xbox, but the laser wore out really quickly and then I got red ring’d of death, so we got the PS3. I prefer the controls, it can play BluRays, and it has great exclusive games, like Uncharted or The Last of Us or Heavy Rain or God of War or Infamous or Metal Gear Solid 4. I love those games.
I probably won’t get the PS4 straight away, though.

I think I’m checking out a venue for my 21st. And probably pleading with my mother not to have my legs broken because I’m in debt to her.

1 - Are you young at heart, or an old soul?
Interesting question. I’ll say I’m a soul in a mid-life crisis. I’m an old soul in that I’ve experienced enough to know the pain and problems that are coming, but too young at heart - too passionate, too headstrong - to deviate from the plan.
2 - What makes someone a best friend?
Well, that changes from person to person. If I can say to myself, “They’re my best friend”, and justify it to myself, then they’re a best friend. I have to trust them, and care about them, and look past their mistakes (since they do the same for me).
3 - What Christmas present do you remember the most?
The Puffin Treasury of Classics, a collection of fairy tales and classic stories. I can’t remember which Christmas I got it for, but I always loved the stories in that book. I still keep it in my bookcase… next to Jack Kerouac and Matthew Reilly.
5 - Name one physical feature that you like about yourself, and one you dislike.
I like my eyes. They’re very dark brown, to the point where you need a very good light source in order to see my pupils. I’ve heard them described as cow’s eyes, and pools of chocolate milk, which are nice to hear, I suppose!

I have an Uncle Michael, married to one of my Mum’s sister. He looks like an Australian Santa Claus, and he’s a great mechanic.

Well, both! It really depends on my mood as to which I prefer, but generally being with a couple of friends, as opposed to a larger gathering.

Adopting different accents mid-conversation, and not always by choice! When I’m in proximity to a close friend with an American accent, I tend to slip into one myself… The same goes for my friend in Oxford.

Definitely intuition. I’m not known for thinking things through logically.

The suburbs of a smaller city? The countryside is too quaint, and big cities are too busy, so somewhere like my current home: a smaller suburb in a capital city, where I can be where it’s busy, or where it’s quiet.
