As the herrings are defrosted under fresh running water, the mineral salts that are lost in this procedure have to be replaced by salt tablets hidden in the fish. Throwing it waaaay back to when Mike was poorly and skinny and clean shaven and I was fat (still am 🙈). I hated this photo when it was taken - 5 years ago. My arms.. my tummy... things I didn't have before I had Lily ... but what I've learnt after having Lily and Nathan.. a lot of the baby weight stays with me for a good year before I begin to lose. I was so scared to try on wedding dresses that I Nearly left it too late. But before ordering the dress, we tried it on 3 times.. I'd lost weight and now its here it's too big (and I've not been trying!) I dont care anymore. Mike and I have both changed but we have each other and get through the ups and downs together and I'm so proud of us.
