some el headcanons because she deserved better

when the byers live in california, will begins going to drawing classes. el goes with him one day and when she sees all of the classes they have to offer, she begs joyce to let her join one. she ends up taking a beginner’s ceramics class, and she loves it. she isn’t able to continue it in hawkins, but she picks it back up when she moves away with joyce and hopper.

in addition, she loves making little crafts. she checks out craft tutorial books from the library and tries to do as many as possible. she and will also invite the party over to do crafts with them frequently.

joyce helps her get a job at melvald’s while the byers family is still living in hawkins. once they move out, she ends up working at a flower shop, which she loves.

will and jonathan desperately try to get her into their music, and although she enjoys it, she has a strong preference for pop music. she blasts the pop radio station at random hours of the day, much to her family’s dismay.

she loves comics. she borrows max’s superhero comic books and makes hopper save the comics in the paper so she can read them.

although i’m not necessarily an elmax truther (although i do love them dearly, and they were the first ship in stranger things that i enjoyed) i am a lesbian el truther #forlife. i haven’t thought too much about how this would pan out yet but i just know it to me true.

i understand that the structure of the pitt leaves an amount of characterization up to audience interpretation. however comma everyone besides me is actually doing it wrong.

when my skin gets clear and i figure out how to style my hair and i actually go to the gym and i start eating and sleeping well consistently i will be unstoppable

i used to think ipad kids were bad but then one time i was in my best friend’s kitchen at one am and her little sister came in and started watching youtube shorts on the refrigerator which is a level of cooked that i didn’t realize existed
