myphai modern au where Mydei’s a baker and Phainon’s something ig and they regularly meet up in Mydei’s bakery WHATEVER you’ve heard this before ok here’s the interesting part
Khaslana is reborn in this universe with all the memories of the cycles. He ends up gravitating towards the Heirs as a result, but he refuses to let himself actually grow closer to them because he thinks he’s undeserving of their love and he’s sure he’ll hurt them somehow.
Khaslana visits Mydei’s bakery very often, almost daily but he doesn’t ever talk to Mydei besides asking to check up on how he’s doing and ordering his food. Whenever Mydei tries to talk to him, he always give short and shallow answers to avoid prolonging they’re conversations. When he sees Mydei and Phainon interact and how close they are, he gets a little jealous and upset over the fact he was never able to have what they have.
Mydei eventually realises at some point “Hey this guy keeps looking at us” and goes up to Khaslana, thinking he would need to beat him up. But when he goes up to talk to him, he sees grief in Khaslana’s eyes and feels a weird sense of connection to him after that.
Anyway idk what happens beyond this point lol they grow closer yippie khas is still kinda distant but mydei and phai don’t give up and yeah khas realises at some point he’s gotten too close and has a bit of a breakdown and tries to distant himself again but mydei doesn’t let him and yeah he gets vulnerable opens up about the cycles and it’s happily yipppiieeee!!!!
oh ahd also flame reaver’s here too he goes by Khaos in this au and he holds the worst memories of the cycles and probably in an abusive/toxic situation with Lygus somehow I don’t know how but he is idk i rly like myreaver and I wanted to include it
OH I FOROGT TO MENTION khas is a liiittlllleee non human. He’s got claws (which he covers up by wearing gloves), parts of his body look like marble and he’ got golden cracks (so he wears long clothing),etc
