This is my War Dust; the stuff I use for offensive magic or curses, whichever I require. I’ve used it in the past to give myself the resolve to fight for my right to be happy, and fling a few curses at malicious people. This is a recipe that I pair music with, and I always play something that makes me calmly angry. I’ll put a few of my favorites for the spell at the bottom of this post.
The amounts in this recipe are up to the person making it, so I’ll simply list my ingredients.
Sand
Personally I don’t gather sand from this spell from nature. I prefer artificial sand so that the base of my recipe is detached from nature and derives its power solely from me.
Fire Ashes
I use a trowel to scoop fresh ashes and coals into a nonflammable container so they can cool for use. I also prefer to have my fire on the full moon’s night, in full sight of Mani. If you can procure special ashes (for instance I made my fire on a full blood moon) that would be an extra enhancement.
Charred Wood/Matches
Wood that isn’t fully burned is potential energy, and it gives the dust an extra source of power.
Glitter
This stuff gets everywhere, and it lingers. Symbolically speaking it helps any spell you use the War dust in d the same thing: linger when it isn’t wanted. Just when the person you’ve cursed thinks they’re out of the woods, one last thing will come to bite them. Just like when you think you’ve picked all the glitter off of yourself after a party, yet when you look closer, there’s always one more sparkle. I like red colored glitter.
Pepper
Could be regular pepper, pepper corns, cayenne, whatever you please. If you’ve ever eaten something with way too much pepper, you’ll understand why I include it. Pepper burns like hell if you have too much. So douse your Dust with it, add multiple kinds, put chili flakes in too, spice it up.
Seal your container tightly, and clean the lid of your container with isopropyl alcohol or another body-safe sanitation method. Swipe blood onto your thumb and leave a print on the top of your jar to seal in the energy you’ve created, and then seal the print in place by dripping wax over it.
Alternatively, if you aren’t a blood user, you can instead draw your sigil for war, battle, or fire on the jar to seal with wax.
