A rescue cat story... ❤️ Dolly ❤️ (Doll Face Persian) was rescued out of a shelter in Orlando FL 3 years ago... sadly she was surrendered there along with 40+ animals by a animal hoarder. At her first vet visit we discovered she had been suffering with chronic asthma for so long part of her lung actually collapsed. Many cats from hoarding situations have breathing conditions due to high concentrations of uric acid that they continually inhale. Many folks may have put a cat like Dolly to sleep based on her age (13) & it appeared she would suffer with chronic health conditions... BUT not this crazy cat lady! 🐱🤪🐱 the good news is her asthma is very much under control with only a few episodes per month. She also recently had outstanding blood lab test results- which is amazing considering she has been taking steroids for quite some time to control her asthma! Dolly lives with me and is part of my clowder of kitties.
