FFXIV finally managed to grab me and I dragged my husband into it and now we’re officially married.

This took so long because I was hemming and hawing about how to get pictures of Erhi and Altan (cause they’re retainers rn) But IT ALL WORKED OUT, so here! Have some fankids under the cut! *throws photos*
Here are the twins, Ehri and Altan! (Erhi’s currently at work as Lahee’s Retainer because he’s the only one with NIN unlocked lol) And yes, Erhi is in a perpetual state of ‘You’re all stupid I want to leave’. Gaia eat your heart out.
Altan is currently working with his mum, living in a tent in the backyard
Altan never really wanted to follow his mum’s footsteps and become a great fighter, meanwhile Erhi was just like a fish to water...if water is ‘proficiency with stabbing weapons’. Altan is, however, stupid crazy skilled at beast taming, and his most notable achievement is taming a behemoth. The twins have a falling out at some point and Erhi stays in the far east, specifically learning how to be a Ninja in Doma from Yugiri, while Altan goes to Ishgard to connect with the Fortemps Fam. The twins were raised by their grandad, Batsaikhan, on the steppe, for safety reasons. Anonymity and all that jazz. It left Ehri with some serious inferiority complex issues, and part of their reason for falling out is that she thinks that their mum favours Altan more, because she passed on Bennu to him but Erhi got nothing.
Truth is, their backstory is a little bit all over the place at the moment, so all of that’s subject to change, but it’s the original and current backstory for them.
Aaaand since we’re on the topic of Saraa’s family...

And then in the other corner of the muses, we have Granye and Lahee’s son, Myrgandeidin!
He’s a big softie and takes after his dad in the fact that he’s a (literal) giant NEEERRRD. He loves learning things and gaining new nuggets of knowledge! He used to have long hair like his parents and then one day just cut it all off because it kept falling in front of his face and obscuring his vision. They were both shocked, but Granye was just a little bit devastated when he came out of his room one day with a haphazard crewcut...
He got his red facial tattoos when he was in his late teens, after he learned more about his parents’ history. Tattoos at all to pay homage to his mother’s, and red as a tribute to the mask his father once wore.
He’s also inherited Lahabrea’s unspeakable talent for the arcane...and yet he doesn’t like using his talents to fight. Granye tried to teach him how to do some MNK moves for self defence and he was MORTIFIED at the idea of hurting people with his hands.
Give him a book, settle him in a nook, and he will be perfectly happy!
I love talking about the kids (and grandparents) and I have a lot of thoughts about young/baby Myrgan because it sparks joy.
