I found this little ship question thingy on @spillingteanotpermitted’s page and I decided I want to do it for Astarion and Myrin. Today has just been a lot and full of anxiety for me so I could use a nice distraction to take my mind off things.

How do they refer to each other (“this is my girlfriend, partner, fiancé)?

Astarion calls Myrin his “partner”. Myrin calls Astarion her “boyfriend”. Eventually they start using the terms “husband” and “wife” but that’s not until a little bit later into their relationship.

What’s their celebrity couple/ship name?

Myrstarion :)

Night out or night in?

Seeing as how Astarion’s condition causes him to only be able to go outside when it’s dark out, they are definitely a “night out” kind of couple. That’s when they do most of their outdoor activities.

Sleep in or up and at ‘em?

Myrin loves to sleep in, especially now that she’s up a lot later than she’s used to be. Astarion only needs 4 hours of sleep but he doesn’t really get up and at ‘em cuz he enjoys just being with Myrin and cuddling with her.

Who hogs the blankets?

Myrin for sure. Astarion gets on her about it quite often.

Who snores?

Neither of them snore loudly but Myrin tends to make snoring noises in her sleep. Astarion thinks it’s adorable.

Who gets them both in trouble? What for?

Oh Astarion for sure! Usually for things like pickpocketing or looting. Astarion can’t help himself and Myrin thinks it’s funny so she goes with it.

What do they do for date night?

They love nighttime walks. Nighttime due to Astarion’s condition of course but one of their favorite pastimes is to just get outside and talk to each other and take a stroll around town.

What do they do for their anniversary?

Astarion almost always forgets it’s their anniversary but Myrin remembers and makes sure they do something special. They have a spot next to a tree by the River Chionthar where they go and set up a little “picnic”. Picnic meaning Myrin eats food and Astarion just enjoys her company and sometimes feeds on her. This is where they eventually get engaged.

Any hobbies in common? What do they like to do together?

They both love reading! Give them a good story to read together and they’ll be immersed for days!

Who’s the big spoon? The little spoon?

Astarion actually quite enjoys being the little spoon because it makes him feel protected and safe and Myrin just loves cuddling with him and making him feel that way.

What’s their favorite sex position?

Oh doggy for sure. They also like missionary a lot but Myrin in particular loves doggy, it makes her feral and Astarion enjoys seeing her like that.

What cutesy nicknames do they have for each other?

Myrin calls Astarion “Star” and he loves it. Astarion likes to call her “love” or “my love”. Myrin also calls him “honey” sometimes too.

How often do they have sex?

Like every day or every other day. Once Astarion gets more comfortable with sex and starts to be able to enjoy it for himself they tend to have it quite often.

What’s their safe word?

It’s a little goofy but it’s “meow” because they both like cats.

What do they do that the other loves?

Myrin loves it when Astarion mends her clothes or makes her little crochet plushies. One of her love languages is gift giving and it makes her so honored to know that Astarion put in all that effort just for her.

Astarion loves it when Myrin kisses his forehead. He never knew it could be so intimate but he loves it. It’s makes him feel so loved by her and incredibly safe.

Who was the first to say “I love you”?

Astarion in the graveyard scene. Myrin wanted to say it but she wanted to make sure Astarion said it first so that way she knew he meant it. It was a special moment when he finally said it.

Who proposes? How?

Astarion ends up being the one who proposes with a ring he stole from a goblin on their adventure. It’s when they’re at their favorite picnic spot and it’s very subtle and casual. Like “Lowkey do you wanna get married?” Kind of thing.

Kids, pets, or plants? How many?

All three! They have 2 kids together, 3 cats (they are both cat people) and they have many plants they like to take care of!

Who kills the spider?

Astarion for sure. Myrin is terrified of spiders and flips out when she sees one so Astarion is the designated spider-killer.
