So This Is 30

I’m 152 days into being 30. Clearly, I am qualified to have the best opinion on what being 30 means. Being 30 means….

1)   I don’t understand Snapchat and now I miss Myspace.

2)   In order to see my friends I have to pay $70 to join a recreational adult kickball team but I’m too fat to run.

3)   My right knee hurts sometimes. My left knee is fine.

4)   I can drink alcohol on Friday and Saturday nights but rarely partake because it makes me ‘bloated’. Plus alcohol is full of ‘empty calories’.

5)   Keeping a list of passwords cause I have so many accounts now. My credit card was stole when I was 28 so now I now I create impossible to hack and remember passwords. Password123 is no longer a viable option.

6)   Investing in name brand face washes that smell like rose and lavender cause wrinkle prevention.

7)   Still paying student loans. Still thinking about Grad school.

8)   Realizing everyone made better choices than me in their 20s.

9)   Being the old lady.

10)  Being the kid.

Ok so today I remembered something really funny and I have to share it with you.

Ok so from the ages of like 13-15 I was really into the whole “scene” “emo” style and I used myspace a lot and of course I followed Jeffree Star (known as the Scene Queen). I’m not sure if you guys know him or not but he was huge on myspace and he made lots of music. He actually had a song with Nicki Minaj before she was famous anyway, today I was watching videos of Bill Kaulitz on Youtube and one of the videos I came across had a song by Jeffree Star on it and as I was watching it I remembered something hilarious and yes it involves Tokio Hotel. Ok So I used to follow Jeffree on Twitter. I don’t anymore because I grew out of that phase of my life but anyway. This was back in 2008 ish and he had tweeted something about being in Germany and I tweeted him telling him to say “Zeig mir deiner Plaume”, (Tom’s famous line) as a joke. Jeffree tweeted me back and was very offended. I can’t exactly remembered what he had said but I remember that he called me an offense name. I remember laughing extremely hard. I personally thought it was absolutely hilarious. I learned my lesson about using the words Tom teaches. So ya never use them or do because it makes for a hilarious story! Oh and remember “a plum a day keeps the doctors away!”
