Last 3 days have been personally very eventful , very packed, and IRL busy. Coming back onto tumblr to see we striking for another 3 days (mar 18-21) is not ideal, but roll with the punches.

If you believed in it, what would you be reincarnated to?

Based on my little knowledge of reincarnation, I'm gonna shoot in the dark and say ram or cat. Thought process below:

I feel like I've lived a semi-decent life I've lived so far. Dutiful daughter with a heavy heaping of burn-out. Based on my karma, I'd likely be knocked down a peg into the non-human animal kingdom. Maybe a ram or a cat? Intelligent enough to be stubborn and assertive. Picks fights and fights them well.

I can be stubborn, but being assertive and sticking to my grounds is something I could learn to do better.

As much as I'd like to be a cat and have the possibility of being sheltered and spoiled by a human (even if that meant being a rescue), I think a wild ram having to endure the wilderness and weather might be better atonement for this current life. If I am a ram, at least I'll get a herd/pack/group.

I love grapes... So much in fact that I'll eat as many as possible in such a short amount of time and give myself a tummy ache. I love grapes.... But i hate how i cant control myself.

Organizing my stationaries by color. Like I'll spend more time cleaning up my art supplies and rearranging them to ROYGBIV instead of using them. Also still a newbie orchid mom, so lotta research and moss mixing right now.

N - Name three things you wish you saw more or in your main fandom (or a fandom of choice).

HOA fandom: more tomfoolery. I always love silly incorrect quotes, those cropped text posts on top of in-game screenshots, and out of pocket head canons. I am guilty of not contributing to the ecosystem, but will push some silly out and get back in the sandbox with everyone.

19 days fandom: More Brother Qiu and Little Mo interactions. I miss the parallels people would draw and how they'd extrapolate them into making these "sister-in-laws" get along.

One Piece fandom: more of Zoro and Sanji as EQUALS. for some reason, especially after time-skip, there's just so much of their original, whimsy character that is lost. Sanji used to be COOL. Zoro used to open-mouth laugh. Gimme that back. Their whimsy. Their youth.

O - Choose a song at random. Which ship or character does it remind you of?

ELO - "Telephone" is what came up on my random music player. Reminds me of Jason Kolchek from House of Ashes. One of my (many) WIPS is actually a prequel to "Cry if I want to" fic and this song is the inspiration. It was going to be of Jason trying to call Salim and the heart ache that came from those calls never being answered. But it felt so needlessly wallow-y and sad, and I don't where to take it so it doesn't end so bitterly. So, there it is collecting pitiful dust in the corner.

T - Do you have any hard and fast headcanons that you will die defending?

So many HOA headcanons have been around for so long and accepted as not-canon-canon, that I'm not sure what would need to be defended. The only ones that come to mind are:

Jason draws better than he writes and

At full, unstoppable power, Salim is 100% more unhinged than Jason. Imagine this: the two of them crouched behind a car to hide from heavy gun fire. They know they need a diversion to get out of there alive. Jason's idea of a diversion: something self-sacrificial, I-am-the-shield, I'll-go-out-guns-blazing-for-you kind of thing. Salim's idea: set the car on fire, drive the on-fire car at them, and jump out before it goes Michael Bay on their ass. They're both goblins, but Salim has to hold back his goblin for Zain.
