there’s a couple things I have in mind. On a basic level like I said there’s the pure sensory element. Ilya manhandling Shane, the loud buzz of the razor, the shower afterward to get the hair off, the way a buzzed head feels so velvety.
There’s also the image part of it. Shane struggles with masculinity; he’s trapped in it, and it pains him. He feels emasculated by being a gay bottom, but he also wants to play with being less committed to masculinity. I think that Ilya could poke a lot of hot buttons with a force masc scene where he tells Shane that he’s too obvious, and Ilya’s going to help him. And then after, Shane has to thank him with sexual favors. Etc.
But I think that actually, Shane with a shaved head would look younger and more vulnerable! I think that would be catnip for Ilya. The way that Shane trusted Ilya with this, but he only looks like more of a target.
Ok, and then when you have a buzz cut, you can’t stop touching it! Shane would be thinking about Ilya constantly. Maybe he lets it go without cutting it again until he can see him next.
Other thoughts! I think shaving is rife with role play opportunities. We already talked about “I’m doing this to protect you.” But I think they could also get really into a locker room hazing scenario. I think that’d be pretty rough play, with Ilya pushing Shane around and hitting him and hogtying him so he could keep still long enough to get the job done. And then Ilya jerks off on him and doesn’t even let him come. Another thing. I think they could do some primal stuff where Ilya hunts Shane down at the cottage and drags him back to be hosed down and shaved.
Ok. And then this isn’t kink so much, but like, I really love shaving and getting shaved by my partner. It’s such a gay bonding experience, taking care of each other that way. I think once they’re officially together, it could be a really lovely ritual for them, maintaining Shane’s hair.
