11/16/2019 Shell ACTS (A Community That Serves): Medical and Dental Mission 2019 Kids always face the question, "What do you want to be when you grow up?" Ever since, my answer was the same -- I want to be a doctor. It was the way I wanted to make a difference. Even though I didn't became a doctor now, I am blessed to have been given the opportunity to serve closest to my childhood dream. 01/17/2020 Before January ends, I would like to share how thankful I am to have been a part of the team behind this Shell ACTS (A Community That Serves) project for the benefit of over a thousand family victims of the Taal volcanic eruption. This is one of the collaborative relief efforts initiated by the Shell companies in the Philippines (SciP), Pilipinas Shell Foundation, Inc. (PSFI), Malampaya Foundation, Inc. (MFI), Philippine Disaster Resilience Foundation (PDRF) and other benevolent partner organizations and individuals for the victims. This project was close to my heart, as I myself (together with my family) have experienced being an evacuee, too, and have lost some of our cherished things during the Typhoon Ondoy in 2009. This might be a different type of catastrophe, but the bottomline is that situations like this bring about a different level of anxiety and discomfort to the victims. 'Bayanihang Pilipino' will always be a unique national treasure we can be proud of and show to the world. And while Taal volcano gradually returns to rest, the people will be needing much more help in their rehabilitation. 11/10/2019 Kung mayroon mang hindi nagsawang maniwala sa akin, sa mga pangarap ko, at sa halaga ko, bukod kay Lord, pamilya at mga kaibigan ko, ang Pilipinas Shell at PhilDev Foundation iyun. Kahit sa mga panahong ako mismo ay tumigil ng magtiwala na kaya ko -- hindi nila ako iniwan Dahil kulang isang buwan na lang mula ngayon bago ang Shell Day, gusto ko magpasalamat ng taos puso sa Pilipinas Shell. Mula sa scholarship na pinagkaloob nila na nakapagpatapos sa akin sa pag-aaral sa UST hanggang sa pagkakataong makapaglingkod sa bayan at ipagpatuloy ang aking mga pangarap sa pamamagitan ng mga oportunidad na ipinagkakaloob nila sa akin -- buong pusong pasasalamat Pilipinas Shell, isa lang ako sa milyun-milyong Pilipino na natulungan mo sa loob ng 105 taon na pagiging katuwang ni Inang Bayan sa pangarap na ganap na pagbabago.
