01/17/2020 Before January ends, I would like to share how thankful I am to have been a part of the team behind this Shell ACTS (A Community That Serves) project for the benefit of over a thousand family victims of the Taal volcanic eruption. This is one of the collaborative relief efforts initiated by the Shell companies in the Philippines (SciP), Pilipinas Shell Foundation, Inc. (PSFI), Malampaya Foundation, Inc. (MFI), Philippine Disaster Resilience Foundation (PDRF) and other benevolent partner organizations and individuals for the victims. This project was close to my heart, as I myself (together with my family) have experienced being an evacuee, too, and have lost some of our cherished things during the Typhoon Ondoy in 2009. This might be a different type of catastrophe, but the bottomline is that situations like this bring about a different level of anxiety and discomfort to the victims. 'Bayanihang Pilipino' will always be a unique national treasure we can be proud of and show to the world. And while Taal volcano gradually returns to rest, the people will be needing much more help in their rehabilitation. So, I encourage us all to keep on praying for our kababayans and keep on sending them help 🙏🏼 Kapit-bisig, sama-sama, muling makakabangon ang Batangas 🇵🇭🌞 #ShellACTS #MyShellPH #MakeTheFuture #taalvolcano #communitydevelopment #socialresponsibility (at Batangas Provincial Sports Complex) https://www.instagram.com/p/B753cofJA8g/?igshid=1ocv7u941ill0
