I’m sick you guys

It’s bad. I don’t think I’ve ever been this sick before. I’ve never had a broken bone or injury that was ever serious and that goes for illnesses too. My nose has been runny once before but this is infinitely more severe.

I woke up this beautiful Monday morning excited to go to school like any other day but when I tried to get up a wave of pain overcame me. This forced me to stay in bed and when Mom found out that I wasn’t coming downstairs for a hot cocoa and porridge like usual, she visited my bedridden state. And then as if my terminal disease wasn’t already apparent, she had the audacity to ask “What are you still doing up here?” skeptical about the legitimacy of my withering essence. She put her forehead to mine and then grabbed my hands, which sure enough were sweaty from illness (not from the duna and three quilts I slept in) before she came to the single most obvious understanding that maybe, just maybe, the very fiber of my being was under threat as my immune system perished with me next in line.

Today I can’t make it to school sorry guys. I know I said we’d do this FitnessGram Pacer test together Steven but I just can’t make it so you’ll have to go on without me...

Mom also said no TV though so I’m left to suffer in boredom too. I’ll probably be better tomorrow all things considered. But don’t get mad at me for not coming Steven cuz you might get sick too!!!
