utena duelistsona cosplay would be cute so as to avoid feeling constrained to utena's perspective but i'd only want to do it for magfest which is pretty much the only attainable event which isn't dogshit slop where people will body you or let their untrained fake service dogs roam and fight. and it would cost money and time. lately i feel strangely compelled by the concept of spending a day as a more accurate, hard-edge '97 aerith (why do people stray from her metal bicep and wrist cuffs and shoulder pads and liberating unbuttoned look so often) and i still always want to do rei asaka and nausicaä... sighs dreamily. if i could do masterwork puppetmaking i would die to spend a day as a skeksis... ahaha

i think it’s a good idea to make a separate individual post that isn’t a bunch of paragraphs but yeah basically my situation is: ive lived under a slumlord for years, he filed to evict me and my disabled mom who I take care of after we tested for mold and every room tested positive, he was convinced by legal aid to drop the eviction and give us until the end of the month to leave and we both have apartments in different cities lined up but not nearly enough money to cover the costs of moving including: rent and down payments, rental trucks and gas. (Also just other costs of living at the same time). We’re moving on the 25th and on very limited time id really appreciate any help cashapp and venmo are @ ishaanjs &thank you to everyone who has helped me and given me advice or support these last couple months it means a lot

Emily Pangnerk Illuitok

Birds Nesting in Cliffs, c.2007

Born in 1943, Illuitok was an Inuit master sculptor from Kugaaruk. She created detailed, delicate ivory/bone carvings that mostly represented hunting or nature scenes. Illuitok often worked with found materials that she then shaped into works of art. She passed away in 2012.

The above work shows birds nesting and is made of whale bone and ivory. Notice the little detail on the bottom right of a polar bear hunting some seals.
