On cold nights I lay under the stars They seem closer in the dark My hair amongst the grass My breath swirling Visible in the wind Days drag on The sky burning with light From the sun But the nights are short And fleeting Ice forming in the clouds And on my ears I feel the space behind my eyes Echo what is above me Vast and endless Blacks and purples and blues Flecks of white paint splatter I'm reminded of a picture I once saw in a book Of a painting hanging In some large room in Europe And I wonder if Van Gogh Ever felt this cold
Mysilentknot (A poem that one of my dear sisters wrote me)
I really do love my friends and family. I have been getting such overwhelming love and support. I really have gained a new appreciation for this place. Maybe I had to go away and fuck up what I thought I should do in order to appreciate my home?
I just remembered we share a birthday! Happy birthday! 21 right?
Yeah! Wait wait wait, you mean the just the day or like we were both brought into the world at the same time? 'Cause that would be so mega rad

if you get past the gore that is only put there to sell movie tickets the entire series is really in depth and cool. like some movies take place simultaneously and twists are revealed very cleverly.
honestly gore does not bother me at all and i didn't find them that scary but the premise of them so far has been really good and i just love the style in which the film is shot all of the transitions are really nice and i love the 'flashing between two angles of the same scene really quickly' thing. thats really cool

1. Why did you join tumblr? A few of my friends had one, and they always kept talking about things they saw and how awesome it was, so I decided to check it out!
2. If you had to pick 5 books to take to a deserted island, what would they be? Oh Lordy, I read so much…okay, so I’m gonna take the Phelps twins advice and bring How to Build a Raft. Now for the other four…The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald, The Princess Bride by William Goldman, The Age of Innocence by Edith Wharton, Wuthering Heights by Emily Brontë, and one of the Chicken Soup for the Soul books so I can feel better about being stranded.
3.One fictional character whom you can relate to? Okay, I’m gonna be this girl. In all honesty, the first one that popped into my head was Dean Winchester. Why? Because I know what it’s like to be the older sibling. To have a younger brother to care for, and that you would give the world to if you could. To sacrifice your happiness and needs and out everyone else’s before your own.
4. If you could live in a fictional universe, which one would you pick and why? Hmm…this is a hard one, too. I really think I’d love to live in the Wizarding World. I’ve loved the HP books since I was a kid, and have always been fascinated with that world.
5. What’s your favourite country apart from your own? I really have a soft spot for Italy. That’s where a lot of my ancestors come from, and I love learning about the Italian culture.
6. Do you prefer cities, or small towns? I really enjoy small towns. My moms side lives in a small town in Alabama, and I always love going to visit.
7. Would you rather freeze to death or burn to death? Burn to death. I loathe being cold.
8. If you could become an animal, which one would you like to be? That’s an easy one. I’d be a cat. They sleep half the day.
9. Who’s your favourite superhero? Black Widow. Enough said.
10. What’s your earliest childhood memory? Playing in the mud with my cousins!
11. What would you sell your soul for? Probably for my little brother to have the happiest life possible, and to never go through what I had to when I was 17.
Here are y’all’s questions! 1. If you could eat only one thing for breakfast, one thing for lunch, and one thing for dinner, what would it be? 2. What’s your ultimate OTP? 3. What’s the meaning behind your URL? 4. Do you have a favorite fictional character? 5. Do you prefer sunshine or rain? 6. If you had to listen to 10 songs for the rest of your life, what would they be? 7. If you had the option to move anywhere, where would you go? 8. Do you have a favorite author and/or book? 9. Do you have a favorite fandom? 10. What’s a pet peeve of yours? 11. What’s one thing you’d like to accomplish before you die?

Don’t take but a few minutes, and don’t think too hard — they don’t have to be the “right” or “great” works, just the ones that have touched you. Tag ten friends, including me, so I’ll see your list. Make sure you let your friends know you’ve tagged them.
