When you made your other blog for your books, did you make it as a secondary blog to your main or a whole new one? What would you suggest be the best option for a newbie self-publishing writer?

I made a whole new blog, partly because sideblogs are one of those aspects of tumblr that just sort of… never occur to me. 

But it’s also handy because of the way I handle my assortment of online identities–I keep all the stuff that relates to my wallet name in one browser, all the stuff that relates to my Dira self in a second browser, and all the stuff that relates to my self-pub identities in a third browser, largely just so I can keep all three gmail accounts open in their own tabs and not have to log in and out of them. So then it’s easier to have a separate tumblr (tied to the gmail account for self-publishing) open in that browser along with my Dessa Lux twitter and so on. 

I do recommend having a separate email address that makes sense for your pseudonym, but how much you want to carry that out into other social media accounts just depends on how you like to organize things.
