I just genuinely dont see the connection? And it may be because I know mysterio is going to betray Peter at some point in the movie but also my main ship is starker and I have a hard time shipping Tony and Peter with anyone else when I already see them together (unless it's for plot reasons). I don't really care what people ship at all when I can filter it but I'm not up for every ship. Idk if that makes sense but I hope u have a great day and I love ur blog! :)

I get cha! From what people have said it seems most people either don’t like the manipulative behavior Mysterio is known for, OR they’re a monoshipper and don’t wanna betray their OG Starker ship.

It was really interesting to see everyone explain their reasoning for not liking Peter/Mysterio though! I originally thought the two ships would both essentially have the same audience but now I see they appeal to different people despite their similarities. ☺️
