Hi anon and everyone who I've not spoken with much in these past few months,

As of my current situation, I will no longer be taking requests for fics. I'm closing them for good due to making the shift from a casual hire to a permanent hire. My hours are long now that I'm no longer in college and I'm still trying to make time for my family, friends graduating/moving away and spending time with my partner. It takes up a lot of time working alone and I would like to spend my two free days with the people who matter most to me.

I don't think I'll stop writing cuz my college degree was in English with a focus in creative writing, but right now, I don't feel like writing fics will be a main priority anymore. I hope everyone can understand that.

If Tanjiro manages to turn the tables on Rengoku or Uzui, he gets it ×10 worse than normal when they get him back. Like they immediately go for his worst spots and dial up the teasing SO BAD.

Like Rengoku is just saying "It's very amusing how you think you came out on top there, Young Kamado! You're my Tsugoku for a reason, so let me show you what you still need to learn!" And just clawing his fingers into Tanjiro's stomach and Tanjiro's just curled up into a ball, and then Rengoku's like "See? You want me to tickle you! Why else are you keeping my hand trapped?"

And Uzui is just MEAN about it, like "I get YOU, not the other way around, you ticklish little baby!" And he's just drilling his thumbs under Tanjiro's arms and occasionally getting that horrible top rib near his underarms. I think sometimes he'll hold him upside down and get his belly button until he's hiccupping and apologizing.

they know tanjiro as always been more of a ler due to his history as an older brother as well as witnessing him tickle zenitsu and inosuke so they think it’s only fair to tickle him in the same manner he tickles his friends

rengoku finds it funny whenever tanjiro thinks he can take him down. the moment the tables are turned, tanjiro’s pleading for him to stop yet curls up and hugs his arm tightly. he finds it cute as well and always tells tanjiro that it’s obvious he wants to get tickled since he won’t let go of his hand. rengoku also doesn’t stop until tanjiro’s laughter goes silent but if he snorts, rengoku won’t stop laughing and teasing him about how his snorts mean he’s got him good. he’s nice though and makes sure tanjiro is okay before he continues tickling him

tengen is the opposite. he is very mean and when he grabs tanjiro and flips the tables on him, the teasing is much worse and tanjiro’s already growling at him knowing the baby talk won’t end until he cries for mercy. he also won’t stop unless tanjiro is visibly exhausted

tengen definitely holds tanjiro upside down just to tickle him. he’s walked around with him like that a few times, the other hashira sometimes concerned for tanjiro’s well being when they see tengen tickling him to the point he screams for help or finding it cute how he’s bonding with someone as crazy as tengen. rengoku loves the sight and encourages tengen to tickle tanjiro in certain spots while mitsuri, shinobu, giyuu and muichiro try to help save tanjiro. zenitsu hides and inosuke thinks he should fight tengen whenever they witness the chaos

Hiii Myst! This is not a request, but I still would love your thoughts on it (not forcing, u can very much decline this ask)

But.. I have these and now I am sharing them with u :3 (late at night and I'm tired so these will be quite short)

1: So like.. when there is no meeting and when they are not killing people, what do you think the upper moons do? I imagine it being calm and chaotic at the same time, mainly because of Douma and Akaza's dynamic when with each other.. but then I feel like Nakime and Kokushibou are the ones to calm down the madness.

2: I can't think of the other hc.. it just left me.. sooooo small trivia question instead (without searching it up-) how old are or how old do you think the main 4 characters are at the end of the demon slayer anime (so Tanjiro, Zenitsu, Inosuke and Nezuko)

1. ofc the uppermoons all have their own hobbies and enjoy doing things in their free time. on the rare moments where they manage to all be in the same room without ripping one another’s throats out, they normally just play card games but it quickly devolves into everyone bullying gyokko and hantengu or a few (akaza & gyutaro mainly) rage quitting and storming off 🤣douma’s main hobby however is annoying everyone and it eventually comes to the point where the calm atmosphere becomes tense thanks to douma’s nonstop antics

2. oohhh that’s a good question! i don’t remember their ages ever being stated at the end of demon slayer (i read the whole manga and don’t even remember if their ages were presented to readers) but my guess is they all were in their early to mid twenties by the time they had their children

I saw your Tanjiro headcanons, and I honestly believe that the Hashira (cough cough Tengen and Rengoku) can get him into a lee position pretty easily - Rengoku because Tanjiro's his Tsugoku and reminds him so much of Senjuro, and Tengen to get revenge on how Tanjiro didn't aknowledge him as a Hashira in the beginning. And I think as a lee, teasing is what does him in just as bad as the tickling.

Since you said in your Hashira hc that Tengen will baby talk his victims, he'd totally use it against Tanjiro, who has a love/hate relationship with it. On the one hand, it turns Tanjiro's brain into this goofy mush that makes him unable to fight back and blush really bad. Rengoku would totally use Tanjiro's words against him as any older sibling would (the classic "don't stop", "don't! don't what? tickle me!", "i'm serious! Hello there 'serious!' I'm Kyojuro Rengoku, the Flame Hashira! It's a pleasure to meet you!")

And it all makes Tanjiro whine and laugh even more and it's just adorable 😭

aaahh!!! yes!! tengen and rengoku are the tickle monsters amongst the demon slayers and love to launch tickle attacks on tanjiro!! they’re honestly like his big brothers 🥰

rengoku has a special bond with tanjiro (try to change my mind but their brotherly bond is so cute!!!) rengoku tickles tanjiro in a similar way to how he tickles senjuro. rengoku has a certain mischievous look in his eyes whenever he’s about to tickle tanjiro and he catches on and pulls the “i know what you’re gonna do, rengoku san!! i know that look anywhere!! i’m an older brother!!” and rengoku acts all innocent before grabbing tanjiro and launching a tickle attack while asking “what’s so funny? i haven’t said anything! i must be very funny if you’re laughing so much!” he’s also big on using the classic “don’t!” “don’t what?” “tickle me!” sayings and tanjiro despite knowing the trick always falls for it. rengoku also enjoys pointing out how tanjiro is one of the more ticklish slayers he’s known and laughs whenever tanjiro whines about his face turning red. despite all of his whining, tanjiro doesn’t hate being tickled by rengoku and to make it up for a rather ruthless tickle attack, rengoku buys him whatever food he wants

tengen uzui on the other hand is like a crazy older brother who loves picking on the little brother. it actually took a while for them to have this brotherly bond due to their initial meeting but tanjiro always respected him. tickling tanjiro wasn’t an initial thought until tengen saw rengoku tickling him and noticed how close of a friendship they had for being a mentor and a mentee. he wanted that sort of bond with tanjiro as well and decided to playfully get revenge for their first meeting when tanjiro said he didn’t recognize him as a hashira. as it turns out, tanjiro reacted the same way he did whenever rengoku tickled him but tengen’s baby talk was what got him mildly annoyed. he uses the “don’t what?” “tickle me!” trick as well but he likes teasing tanjiro by saying only babies should be ticklish. this embarrasses and annoys tanjiro but he tolerates it despite all the whining he does. they’ve developed a strong bond as well but rengoku still has a better relationship with tanjiro. tengen is jealous but appreciates that tanjiro actually likes him and willingly tolerates his flashy teasing

side note: tengen has also tried to tickle zenitsu and inosuke but they weren’t as tolerant as tanjiro. tengen got a kick to the face and a bite from inosuke and eventually he tried to take tengen down. zenitsu on the other hand wasn’t having it whatsoever and pulled out some thunder breathing to escape. he flipped tengen off and cursed him before he ran away to cry to tanjiro about how tengen keeps bullying him and calling him a ticklish baby🤣

i loved these!! as always, feel free to always scream your hc’s to me! i love hearing them and enjoy responding!!

Ooh! Another thing they love to use against him!

When Uzui is getting Tanjiro - whether's he's upside down or not - Tanjiro will scream "HELP!" to Rengoku, and then you KNOW Rengoku will just gang up on Tanjiro and Tanjiro is squealing "I MEANT HELP ME!" and Rengoku is like "You really should be more specific with your words, Young Kamado!"

If Rengoku is getting him on the other hand, he will try SO HARD to not scream for help, because either way Uzui is going to offer his "help" to Rengoku and get mock offended and punish Tanjiro for not letting him "help his fellow Hashira"

tengen just holds tanjiro by his ankles and hoists him up so he’s holding his hips, tanjiro’s legs over a shoulder and he goes “get him, rengoku! get his belly!” while tanjiro is screaming for help. rengoku just goes for it and tickles tanjiro while tengen holds him under the pretense that tanjiro wasn’t specific enough

when rengoku’s tickling him and tengen passes by, there’s no help and tanjiro knows that. he’s only going to get tengen teasing him or tengen tickling tanjiro while rengoku laughs and tells tengen where the best spots are. tengen is also the only person tanjiro will try to kick and shove so sometimes it’s a struggle for tengen to tickle him

Yes to everything that you said. I also think that with Tanjiro, Rengoku needs to just give him that look, or Uzui just needs to wiggle his fingers at him, and the poor thing will immediately start laughing (it's cute and Tanjiro is cute)

OMG, when Uzui baby talks Tanjiro, it'll make him growl in embarrassment (though he's laughing, so the effect is kind of ruined), and then that just makes Uzui laugh in turn because Tanjiro literally GROWLED.

And yes yes yes, Tanjiro and Rengoku have a special bond!! I also think that since you said Rengoku will say things like "I must be funny if you're laughing so much!" he'll also do the opposite and be like "well if I'm not as funny as you think, why don't you not smile or laugh?"

Then Tanjiro tries, but Rengoku will be extra evil and go for a really bad spot. Usually, he lasts for about four or seconds before bursting into laughter. Rengoku - being the evil older brother that he is - is just like "It's good to see you have such faith in my sense of humor to laugh so openly about it!"

tanjiro’s inner child comes out when rengoku and tengen want to tickle him. he immediately giggles and falls over if rengoku just gives him that specific look and when tengen wiggles his fingers, he tries to run away and tengen allows him to run for a little bit before he eventually grabs tanjiro and takes him to the ground

tengen’s teasing making tanjiro growl is the funniest thing!! it’s just tengen going “awww!!! coochie coochie coo!!” and tanjiro GROWLS at him cuz it’s annoying and won’t be afraid to say so😂tengen assumes it’s flashy but tanjiro swears it’s the most unflashy and annoying thing ever. he gets tickled more for saying tengen’s baby talk is unflashy and growls even more when tengen continues to use the dreaded baby talk

rengoku is actually funny and can always make tanjiro laugh with or without the tickling but sometimes tanjiro’s sense of humor doesn’t line up with rengoku’s and he’s just staring at him blankly. in that case, rengoku will tickle tanjiro into laughing at his joke. he will repeat it and poke tanjiro’s stomach or squeeze just below his ribs and it will make him laugh. that’s when rengoku says “i’m so glad you’re laughing at my joke!! no one laughed at that one yet! you have such a good sense of humor, young kamado!!”

there are very rare occasions where tanjiro has managed to tickle tengen and rengoku but it never lasts long

Oh and you KNOW Uzui will "punish" Tanjiro for running away from him.

Both Rengoku and him LOVE how Tanjiro always falls for their teasing despite his bravado of "I'm an older brother! I know what you're up to!" And Uzui's just like "nah, only babies fall for this kind of thing!"

And I think both of them would take it as a challenge if he were to slap his hands over his mouth to hide his laughter, oh and if he were to try and kick them, RIP Tanjiro.

Rengoku will use tickling as "abdominal/endurance training" and also a way to cheer him up if he's getting discouraged.

the older brother comments mean nothing to rengoku and tengen. they just tickle tanjiro no matter what

they definitely take tanjiro trying not to laugh as a challenge. if they see him attempting to hold his laughter in, they’ll just try 10x harder to get him laughing and they always succeed. tanjiro kicking is a rare thing since he’s good at making sure he doesn’t flail to the point of hurting anyone, especially his friends but he has kicked rengoku on accident and tengen got kicked in the stomach cuz tanjiro thought he would be able to escape if he did so. it was the wrong move to make cuz they just kept tickling him until he couldn’t breathe properly

the tickle workout was an accident at first cuz rengoku just poked him as a reminder to engage his abs. tanjiro was exhausted and couldn’t properly engage so rengoku pressed all five fingers into his abdomen to remind him to focus and it ended up tickling tanjiro to the point he curled into a ball. rengoku said “screw the actual workout, here’s a FUN ab workout!!”
