another tidbit for #myst25: a teaser video of my physical Myst journal, which is how I've always kept in-character notes while playing the games. I’m finally scanning this sucker at hi-res so I can share it, hopefully I’ll have a site up soon! These were all done with fountain and dip pens, thus the occasional ink blots and smudges—I only started doing the proper inked journals in college, with Myst IV, and the temptation to go back with the re-release and create new journals for Myst, Riven, & Exile is very strong. The story at first, I found it really creepy especially with those background music. I also felt that it was kind of cool on how the MC had her own voice but the story felt quite predicting. Anyways, the art was nice and I hope to see more! By the way, I love that music from the main menu!!
