Clangen Speedpaint: Part 3

Hi everyone! I hope you're doing well this May. I've been busy with the Mayden Dressup challenge. It was my first time drawing the maiden outfits, and I found that drawing clothing is harder than drawing human figures. But that's done now, and I can finally focus on what I enjoy most: drawing cats. I just finished drawing the last two cats of the founders. It’s a short project since there are only two, but it makes reviewing the video smoother. Next, I plan to complete my Clangen Year 1, and I hope it goes well. In Clangen, there are some rules I want to rule out so I can aim for a coherent story. But in general, rules are in place that will help shape the clan and story.

Leaders will randomly choose their new deputy.

Any cat can choose to be a Mediator if they want to, and or have the skill high enough to be one.

The oldest of the warriors will be called ‘Captain’. And they give out tasks to each warrior from the Deputy.

I will allow she-cats (Leaders and Healers) to have a mate and kits if there's a good relationship, collaboration, and coordination.

Mass extinction if there are 3-5 pages of life. It depends on how life functions for the clan. If they're dead, they are permanently gone. (So sorry, I dislike it too, but it's life.)

In addition to the above rule, if a cat needs to die for plot reasons, they are gonna die, easy or hard way.

Mentors will bring their apprentice if one of them is available and/or well enough to patrol.

Patrols often base their decisions on the traits of their members. If a patrol of three meets a loner with mostly positives (e.g., loving, charismatic), they will approach. If the loner has mostly negatives (e.g., cold, bloodthirsty), the patrol will act aggressively. This rule can be flexible at times.

When a Kittypet joins the Clan, they must be 'fixed depending on their age. (Younger Cats up to 8 weeks are safe, older cats before their elder age get a flip of a 50/50 chance if they're 'fixed or not, and elder cats are already 'fixed, stay 'fixed for their sake).

Cats can be any gender & pride when they choose to be and when the time comes.

Pregnant cats will stay in camp, but if there's a reason to go for a break, I'll let them go with someone available.

The identity of the second parent remains unknown, but their behavior aligns with the previously established rules. (Give a little drama in the story.)

No romance between former mentors and first cousins. Heavens No! This isn't Thunderclan. (Idk why Thunderclan allows this). Never allowed. (And I'm unaware that ThunderClan did that, but now I know.)

Not all cats will be displayed; only those participating in important events will be shown.

These clans thrived in harmony, each with its unique traits—ThunderClan embodied strength, RiverClan showcased cunning, WindClan exhibited speed, ShadowClan embraced loyalty, and SkyClan offered wisdom.

However, peace was shattered by a tyrant seeking dominance over the clans. A brutal war erupted, casting a dark shadow over the land, leading to countless losses and shattered bonds. Eventually, the united clans overthrew the despot, banishing them to the Dark Forest, but the toll of the conflict lingered, leaving the land scarred and haunted by the memories of the fallen.
