Reading: Well, I'm always reading One Piece weekly if that counts. All 1170 chapters lol. Recently finished the Warrior Cats Graphic Novel and I've been trying to kick my adhd into gear to keep reading Delicious in Dungeon... Other than manga I don't really read that much aside from the occasional fanfiction.

Last series: The Last tv series I finished was Pluribus. My partner has been showing me lots of shows I never would have watched otherwise and I've been enjoying them. We're currently watching Adventure Time and having a blast. We're somewhere in s4. I never watched it growing up because it came out after I graduated high school, and by that point in my life, I'd briefly convinced myself I was too old for cartoons. But going back to it now, it's a whacky show lol. I love it.

Last film: Wake Up Dead Man, really good murder mystery about corrupt religion.

Last song: Static by Sleep Theory. I heard it in a video and fell in love with it, been listening to it a lot lately.

Sweet or salty: Sweet, love me some good desserts.

Coffee or tea: Coffee 100%. I have like 2 or 3 cups a day.

Working on: Mostly work-related stuff lately, but I'm actually currently trying really hard to finish Ch. 2 of Stars, my heavier themed eene fanfic that I haven't updated in a LONG time... I have most of it finished but it's just polishing it and filling gaps... which is actually kind of hard when I haven't touched it in ages.

24. What are three places you want to travel?

Japan for sure, and not just for the anime. I want to see the beautiful sights and eat delicious food, it truly looks like a wonderful place to visit. I also want to see Australia purely to see my aussie friends whom I've known for YEARS and never met in person. Lastly, I'd want to go to Germany with my dad, he's told me ever since I was small he wanted to take our family there, meet some of our distant relatives on his side of the family, but we could never afford it :( He's getting up there in years, so it would be a nice thing to do while he's still here. But I def can't afford that any time soon...

26. What’s your favorite season?

Fall!! I love the coolness of Fall, and the colors, especially up here where I live currently. It's always raining or cloudy, the world is quiet, I can just sit at my desk and watch the rain while I draw or play games with a hot cup of coffee and everything feels right with the world.

Do you have any interesting headcanons about the characters' families (the eds and the other kids)? I sometimes see more similar, recurring opinions, so I'm curious to hear any unusual or left field ideas.

I think I pretty much share the fandom headcanons, but honestly I'm not sure :0

I def think all three Eds have some form of abusive parents. Ed's parents are neglectful of Ed, and often listen to Sarah over him. Sarah gets a really nice room while Ed has the basement. When he doesn't do well in school they don't even try to work something out with him, they just send him to his Aunt. That coupled with my headcanon that Ed is Autistic, I just don't view his parents in a good light. They don't seem to want to help Ed through his learning disability, instead they seem to have already accepted failure.

Double Dee's parent are just never there, as we've seen, only communicating with their son through sticky notes. They still have such high expectations of him with little interaction.

Now with Eddy, I get the feeling that his parents are the reason his bro ran away. They might seem fine on the surface, but I think there's a hidden layer of manipulative behavior going on here that could be very damaging. His own father's biggest concern is that he becomes a figure skater. HIS GREATEST CONCERN is over what his own son wants to do with his life like it's not his god damn job to support his kids in whatever they want to do.

Not only that but let's look at eddy's bro, shall we? We don't see any trace of him in the house besides his room. There's even a scene, I think in BPS but I could be wrong, where we pass a line of family portraits in Eddy's house and we see silhouettes of Eddy, his mom and dad... but no bro. His brother's room is also sealed off via wall paper from the rest of the house?? Like they were trying to hide it. His room is sealed off with bricks. Bricks over the window, which yea could be his bro being edgy, but the heating vent? I feel like his parents were the ones responsible for the bricks, to keep his bro from getting out of his own room. Especially after they find the heat vent bricks after pointing out that the vent could lead to an escape. Something not quite right is up with Eddy's parents, and I hope to be able to explore that in my fanfic tbh.

As for the other kids, I have less opinions on.

I saw a headcanon about Kevin's folks that they're split, and Kevin lives with his dad, I liked that one.

I feel like Rolf's family is very matriarchal, with how much he talks about his nana/ great nana etc.

Jimmy's family seems like the chillest of the bunch if they're actively supporting their son playing dress up and buying stuffed animals. In my version of their adult selves where Jimmy is NB, they actively support their kid with all their heart. Probably the best parents in the whole cul-de-sac.

Jonny's folks are probably hippies, life-loving folk who are just along for life's ride. They aren't bad to their son, but some people might see their carefree ways as such.

Let's be honest, the Kanker's mom is probably a hooker which is where the Kankers themselves learned that kind of behavior. Probably how the Kankers were born too lol. (for the record I don't have a negative opinion of sex workers. Do what ya gotta do n all that, queens and kings!)

Any headcanons on the characters' future lives/careers? (I know it's not a very fresh question, but I can't think of anything right now 😵‍💫, hopefully this starts an interesting discussion)

Aw, that's okay, Mystic! I appreciate you sending something in regardless! Seems to be the case all around this week, and that's totally fine!

As for their careers, I have lots of thoughts on their older lives and/or careers! In fact, that's a lot of what "In a Sky of a Million Stars," is about! It follows Eddy mostly, but we do get to see where the other kids are headed too!

Ed I can absolutely see as one of those artists that makes a killing selling his art online. Here's the fun twist I have for Ed though, he's a furry artist. The general consensus I've seen online is that good furry artists an make a lot of money because the furry community is so good to artists! Oddly enough, out of the three Eds I see him being the most successful because he's able to do something that he loves to do, and eventually he might land a big gig for a comic book company or an animator or something.

Edd is a little more unsure of his future. After high school he jumps right into a community college, but he's always changing his degree path. Mathematician, Chemist, Biologist, all Edd knows is he wants to go into a career where he can use his profuse knowledge to better humanity. I think eventually he would end up working at the lab he interns for.

Eddy I'll keep general because his adult life is what Stars is about, but he's the most unsure of himself in the future of the three banditos. He doesn't want to go to school again and he certainly doesn't want to have to actually work for his money... disgusting. But such is the way of life. He has a few small retail jobs for a while and hates every minute of them, but it's a job. I think eventually he'd be good at car sales or business pitches... cliché I know.

Kevin I could see working as a mechanical engineer, or even owning a motorcycle repair shop somewhere. He'd be ecstatic to get to repair and refurbish other people's bikes.

Rolf, of course, takes over his family's farm so his parents can retire. Also very cliché but honestly he's been doing that already as a kid.

I can see Jimmy and Sarah partnering together to make their own fashion brand! Like, maybe it's something small they do while going to college but they made a few things that caught the attention of someone big, and now it's a thing!

Nazz I can see being a teacher! I think that one's a well-shared headcanon, but it makes so much sense.

Jonny I can see working in nature somewhere. A botanist, a conservationist, or even just a trail guide or park ranger.

Lee and Marie I can absolutely see being sex workers. May is a harder one though because out of the three Kankers, she seems the least likely to fall into that line of work. With her, I honestly don't know.

And let's be real, Eddy's Bro will forever work at that damn carnival, probably picking up garbage like the trash he is.
