Random aside, and I know it's old news-

But I love how, for the Fontaine Archon quest; the Traveller is all set to mind their business and bother Furina for answers before they leave, and they only get involved on the basis of rep.

Traveller and paimon are, at least from the point they first get attacked at the Fountain of Lucine, only involved because they can't let a cheap shot slide.

In Mondstat they're driven by a sense of on the spot duty and curiosity.

In Liyue they're forced into clearing their name and inadvertently uncovering an insane plot.

In Sumeru, genuine concern for Nahida and the people they meet drive them to protective action against injustice against new loved ones.

But in Fontaine?

Lumine: "if you're takin' a shot at the king, you bet not miss"

MTG fans, do they keywords make things more or less annoying to understand when you play?

(I have my own opinion, but I'm at a bit of a crossroads in design atm, so if anybody has some opinions to share I'd love to hear so I can decide what to do

LiEat's fun, so we're gonna play more but it seems like the trio of games is... Way shorter than I imagined. Not a bad thing, they clearly know exactly what it is they want to do and are doing it. Though I've got some questions about the world building 🤔

Anyway, we might break LiEat up with finishing Moonlighter (seeing as I apparently forgot all about it) or maybe we could try another small horror title 🤔 we'll see ✨

Major games we're definitely playing though, are-

Momodora: MOONLIT FAREWELL

We're gonna do a marathon of all the MOMODORA games and end on it, because it's my favorite baby and I wanna give Bombservice their due 🖤

Hollow Knight!

(I don't know anything except we're a void bug in a 2d soulslike metroidvania, but it looks fun and I love Metroidvanias (⁠;⁠ŏ⁠﹏⁠ŏ⁠))

NieR: Automata's secret boss 🖤

I wanted to beat it when I found out it was real, so we're definitely pulling it off as 2B before we put the game to bed forever 🖤

The NieR series to date

Apparently the first one is... Old. But we'll figure it out and play the new ones too!

Idk what else yet, so gimme suggestions in the asks, or I'll pick random stuff until the game devs I'm eyeing finish their projects ✨

We're having a time of it now, but tomorrow's looking a little... Mysty 🖤✨

We're gonna play LiEat and relax a lil after back to back NieR Automata and Moonlighter 🖤 I think I'll finish up organizing my thoughts about NieR Automata a lil more later this week, just busy with some other things atm

Eventually we are gonna play the new Momodora though, it pains me so much to wait you don't understand. Anyway, see ya at some point 💚

I wish moonlighter had a prequel, so we could see it's concepts more fully realized. I don't even care about the story, I just want better moment to moment gameplay in the shop.

I want to see Rynoka come to life and actually build up an intimate relationship with it, not ironman the half hearted attempt at the aesthetics of a lively town because I feel bad about being critical of an indie game I bought like 4 years ago or something when I was still made of meat.

I'm sad that'll probably never happen.

Anyway, we're gonna play NieR this Wednesday & Thursday afternoon, and prolly most of the weekend.

If the void lets me go free tomorrow, we'll play moonlighter ✨🖤

I'm gonna get some sleep and then tomorrow, I'll post some thoughts on Moonlighter since playing NieR right after has got me thinking a lil bit.

Anyway, sleep tight!! We didn't do our brain myst stream this morning, so be on the lookout for another morning stream if you like hanging out early 🖤

Honestly, we might move brain myst streams to the discord for the sake of ease tbh 🤔

But the next afternoon/evening stream will be more NieR!! We're gonna start the next play through and I'm gonna try not to cry about not being able to see Anenome's background ༎ຶ⁠‿⁠༎ຶ
