I stream Wednesday to Saturday starting at 6:30 (18:30 CST) and ending at midnight (or 3am on Friday & Saturday). I mostly play RPGs, metroidvanias, or anything with a strong narrative focus & gets your blood pumping; plus league of legends (but I'm only playing league until 2KXO comes out).

I'm technically still pre-debut, and I do kinda feed on determination/the indomitable human spirit/the power of friendship & joy, so I talk a lot about indulging your ambitions, especially little ones, and staying true to yourself.

As long as that doesn't mean you start getting all JRPG protagonist on me. I'm even making a rpg-focused design document/template, that'll hopefully bring role-playing back into fashion again. But with people-instead of chat gpt. It's called World Seed SRD ♡ (link) and you can check it out there, in its alpha state. I'm making a proper pdf for it so it'll be easier to read and use, (don't worry, that version will be free too) because if this kind of thing isn't as accessible as possible, then I'm not sure it'll take off. Worst case scenario, I'll start charging $5 for it (since people seem to think things are more important if they cost money for some reason).

When I finish setting everything up for a proper debut, I'll be kicking off the ARG I've been planning too (mostly just waiting till I hit affiliate so I can integrate redeems). So if you like all that, stick around and let me sink my teeth into you UwU

Garbage in, garbage out. So many companies I have been at already have convoluted or barely protected garbage processes. And so when you then bring AI in a) it is already pretty dumb, but also b) the inputs you give it to learn from are coming from human beings who often don't actually understand them themselves or can't manage the complexity even via human intelligence? Wow, I cannot express what a recipe for disaster that is.

Some of the reasons in fact that companies want AI is because it is being pitched as THE solution to actually manage the complexity of information in organizations. But if humans can't do it when they understand the inputs and outputs more fully, the AI is gonna make things infinitely worse rather than better.

You can't teach a machine (hell, you can't teach a person) how to understand something that you yourself are actually unable to understand or grapple with. So the magical thinking that says "if we can't understand it maybe a computer can" is perhaps one of the stupidest follies humans have ever engaged in. It's adding stupidity to stupidity.

i know this means absolutely nothing to most people but basically all of the little web game things I've made recently (angels in automata, hex plant growing game, d.a.n.m.a.k.u., life music, sudoku land, the metroidvania style map editor, etc etc etc) are all entirely self-contained individual client-side html files that can be downloaded and run offline and have literally no libraries or frameworks or dependencies, because i'm an insane woman who enjoys hand coding my input handling and display code from scratch in vanilla js and having it all live in one single html file with the game logic and the page structure and the page style all just living and loving together side by side in a universal format that can be run by any web browser on any devixe. i'll even include image files as base64 data-uri strings just to keep every single asset inside the one file.

You might be familiar with the Wildsea - I know I've posted about it before. It's a setting I really love, and a game I credit with getting me to look into games beyond DnD.

Tigers on the Wire is an adventure for the system that's all about legendary creatures called tigers, a pirate radio station, and a ton of mysteries on the waves.

I've been lucky enough to project manage this campaign, and I hope you'll check it out!
