Myteri x Ruiner

Another day, another neocrust LP from Sweden. This time from Gothenburg, Myteri released there second full-length entitled Ruiner late last year. My first meeting with them was a split with Macedonia’s Born For Slaughter, where they didn’t really impress me, here they’re better, at least i like them better. If we stick with the obligatory Martyrdöd comparison we can see that Myteri is somewhat faster, and doesn’t settle for two great riffs per song. Pretty much that’s what turned me into Deszcz earlier, but there was a slight screamo influence i can’t find here. Anyway, this is a really good take on melodic crust, has it’s somewhat original sound, and doesn’t get boring at all. Highlight: Mördare I Uniform FFO: Martyrdöd, Deszcz
