BOMB THREAT - AFFIRMATIONS FOR THE NEW URBAN GUERRILLA (2023 demo)
When I see some release on bandcamp or YouTube or wherever, with a jcard format cover that looks like it's been Xerox'd to hell or has got a catchy name like "Demo (current year)" I simply must check it out. This is the sole release (as far as I know) by Pittsburgh's BOMB THREAT, with distribution by locals Filler Distro. The sounds are lo-fi in the extreme, but jokes on you I'm into that shit. Takes the typical raw crusty sounds you might expect from a band with these politics, but adds a distinct melodic touch that elevates the record into a more soaring and grand sound head and shoulders above the absolute glut of bands inhabiting this lane. Bandcamp tags call it melodic crust, or emo crust, or even neocrust. I call it kick-ass. They put fucking horns on the last song for God sake! HORNS! IN MY CRUST PUNK!
Go listen.

Project Dekadenz (Estonia, 2025)
My band just released our newest album that is my first actual release and I can't be more proud of it. It has been in the making for a long time and I wasn't even sure we could manage to record it.
We play sludgy crust punk with some black metal influences thrown in for good measure.
