The Story
Prince William went on a boys skiing holiday and cheated on Kate
The Facts
In March 2017 William went on a skiing holiday to Verbier while Kate remained at home (x)
On 13th he had lunch with a group of friends, including Guy Pelly who would go on to become his third child Louis’s godfather. Amongst the people there was Sophie Taylor, an Australian model. William was photographed high fiving her at lunch. Her boyfriend was also there and said William was a “great guy.” (x) The other girl with them was later revealed to be a friend who was in Verbier with her fiance (x).
That night he and his friends, accompanied by Sophie, went clubbing. This video was taken. William- dancing terribly (this is not up for debate)- is in the blue shirt.
These are quotes from people who were there (x)
“He was dancing so wildly that I did a double take when I first saw him and thought it must be a lookalike. But before long everyone realised they really were partying with Prince William“
“I decided I had to film it with my phone or no one would ever believe me. He was dancing with a very attractive blonde girl to hip hop and really going for it — it was proper dad dancing.
“I’m not sure whether it was the drink but he didn’t seem to care how he looked and I never saw any security guys keeping an eye on him or his three mates (James Meade, Guy Pelly and Thomas Van Straubenzee).”
“He started trying on hats starting with a skier’s bobble hat then a cowboy hat while he danced with the blonde. It was a hilarious sight.”
“I’m a friend of Sophie and know she’s with Aaron, so I know all this stuff about her being involved with the William is total nonsense.”
In April William and Kate went to the Radio 1 studios where they joked about the story. He said “I’ve got in enough trouble with my dancing lately.” It starts at about 6:30.” I’m also going to gif it so you can see the reactions:
Summary
William went on a skiing holiday with his friends. While there he danced badly and touched human females. A month later he and Kate laughed about it

A few people requested this so here we go
The Story
William and Kate (and co) chose to party instead of going to their pre-wedding gala with other royals.
The Facts
Prince Harry, Prince William and Kate didn’t attend the pre-wedding gala
Kate and the Middleton Family stayed at the Goring Hotel the night before the wedding. They arrived at around 5:45pm. Neither Kate nor any of the Middletons were seen leaving the hotel until the next morning but we don’t know what they did within the hotel (x)
William and Harry greeted crowds outside Clarence House at around 8:30pm and then returned to Clarence House. They were not seen leaving the home until the next morning (x)
The Queen and her children were all in attendance for a drinks reception and dinner the night before the wedding. Charles and Camilla only attended the drinks reception and then left the event. Clarence House confirmed they spent the night with William and Harry (x)
The gala was not actually hosted by the Queen. It was hosted by her cousin Lady Elizabeth Anson and was not listed in the Court Circular as an official event. (x)
William said that he was awake in Clarence House “all night” because he couldn’t sleep. As we know he arrived at Clarence House sometime in the early evening that means his official line is he did not leave Clarence House before the wedding (x)
There is no evidence they did anything other than stay in their homes/hotels and it has not been mentioned by any reputable sources.
Summary
Lady Elizabeth Anson hosted an unofficial event for visiting and domestic royals. Charles and Camilla attended for a drink at the beginning but left before the dinner. Clarence House confirmed they then went to Clarence House. None of the Trio attended. Kate and Pippa arrived at the Goring Hotel at 5:45pm and weren’t seen leaving by the press or public until the next morning. William and Harry arrived at Clarence House at around 8:30pm. It was confirmed they spent the night there by Clarence House and William said he was there all night.
Skydiving Myths Debunked: Is It Really That Scary?
The reputation of skydiving is based on movies, presumptions, and the fantasies of people who have never boarded an aircraft with the goal of abandoning it in midair. For many first-time jumpers, the fear stems not from the activity itself but rather from tales that have circulated for years without any bearing on reality. At Skyhigh India, we see thousands of novices at the Narnaul Airstrip who came believing skydiving to be unpredictable, terrifying, or extremely dangerous, only to find that the reality is far more structured and calmer than they had anticipated.
Myth One
Freefall has the same sensation as falling on a roller coaster. The majority of people believe that as soon as you get off the plane, your stomach will drop like you've drove down a steep incline, but this isn't the case at all. Almost every first-time jumper is surprised by the smooth sensation that results from the airflow beneath you supporting their body almost instantaneously. It feels more like they are floating than falling. Many novices claim that the canopy ride is the most tranquil portion of the day, and the sensation becomes even more soothing once the parachute opens. You might look at our guide on Planning Your Skyhigh Adventure for a straightforward explanation of what actually occurs in the sequence.
Myth Two
To skydive, you need to be extremely fit. Professional training or athletic prowess are not required for skydiving. A tandem leap doesn't require exceptional endurance or core strength. You must be able to move your body into basic poses and adhere to the instructor's instructions. For a first-time jumper, the ground briefing at Skyhigh India is more than sufficient. It covers posture, harness fit, hand placement and landing technique. You can learn what to wear and how to stay comfortable by reading our article on What to Wear for Skydiving if you want to physically prepare yourself.
Myth Three
Due to the possibility of equipment failure, skydiving is dangerous. One of the most common misconceptions is that skydiving depends solely on chance, although contemporary tandem rigs are constructed with redundancy in every part. Every system has a primary parachute, a backup parachute, and an automated activation mechanism that releases the backup in the event that the primary canopy fails to open in time. At Skyhigh India, safety protocols adhere to worldwide training requirements and all equipment is tested before to each flight. Check out our Frequently Asked Questions for answers to frequently asked questions about weather, weight restrictions, and equipment inspections.
Myth Four
The instructor gives you the freedom to figure it out on your own. Nothing could be farther from the truth than this. From the time your harness is attached until you arrive at the landing zone, tandem skydiving is a guided experience. Every step is discussed on the ground before you take off, and you and your instructor function as a single unit in the air. Because you have ample time to get comfortable, comprehend the timing, and ask questions throughout the aeroplane trip, the overall jump is less scary and more predictable than most people think.
Is it truly so terrifying? The most terrifying aspect of skydiving for the majority of novices is not the actual jump, but rather the ten minutes they spend picturing it. The dread starts to dissipate and interest takes over once you realise how well-organised the procedure is, how thoroughly the equipment is inspected, and how closely your teacher oversees the entire experience. This change is something we witness every day at Skyhigh India, and it's frequently the reason people come back for a second leap.
