¿Que es la maldición del Ajolote/Tristella?

La maldición del Ajolote/Tristella no representa una enfermedad física ni está relacionada con la mancha de forma literal. En realidad, es una metáfora inspirada en la depresión sonriente, también conocida como depresión oculta.

Quienes la padecen suelen aparentar que llevan una vida completamente normal, como si no cargaran con ningún trauma o sufrimiento. Sin embargo, esa imagen no es más que una máscara, creada para ocultar su dolor y evitar que las personas que aman los vean como una carga.

Cuando la maldición llega a un punto sin retorno, la persona termina falleciendo de manera repentina, dejando a quienes la rodeaban con la impresión de que jamás había ocurrido nada.

What is the Axolotl/Tristella curse?

The Axolotl/Tristella Curse does not represent a physical illness, nor is it literally connected to the stain. Instead, it serves as a metaphor inspired by smiling depression, also known as hidden depression.

Those affected by it often appear to live completely normal lives, as though they carry no trauma or emotional pain. However, that image is nothing more than a mask, created to hide their suffering and to keep the people they love from seeing them as a burden.

When the curse reaches the point of no return, the person dies suddenly, leaving those around them with the impression that nothing had ever been wrong.
