Justice and Bravery
Last semester, one of our professors asked us to compose a story using the initials of our names(first name and last name) as characters of our story. He also prohibited us to use our initials as names of person for that’s how they were supposed to. So I thought that the only thing we can do is to compose a fable using things/animals as characters, but because I don’t want to be one of those “stereotypes” I came up with this story instead........
Long time ago, God’s creations lived in harmony, the heavenly bodies: the sun, the stars, the earth, and everything in it, except for one thing. The greatest of all his creations, The Mankind. Each day, mankind continues to develop their Intelligence. Making them feel their superiority among others. Humans then started to lose their ability to distinguish what’s right and what’s wrong. They turned against other creations, earth, plants, animals and even against themselves. God can’t watch his precious creations under chaos so he decided to send Justice: the blindfolded vizier of judgment.
Justice struggled with all of her might just to regain the equity and peace among god’s creations. Using her scale, Justice aided the mankind on every decision they made. And her sword served by punishing those who attempted to take a hold on her. With Justice’ help, the earth managed to regain peace and harmony. Not until Doom, Cruelty and other atrocities came to life. They crippled Justice by binding her limbs and sealing her mouth with the shackles of fear, rendering her helpless.
Once again, chaos and havoc had spread throughout the earth. This time it’s worse. Peace and harmony had been forgotten, Justice was nowhere to be found. Mankind tend to turn against God himself. With their intelligence, they devised a plan that will take them away from God’s hands. God mourned as he look at the awful picture of his creations. He searched for justice and saw her completely immobilized and severed. God then moved his hands and crafted the vizier of courage: Bravery. Bravery broke each and every restraint on Justice’ body then took a form of an armor. He then immediately attached to Justice’ body giving her the power that she never had before. As Justice uncovers her true strength, she wielded her scale and sword way stronger than ever. Atrocities trembled in fear as Justice swings her sword, eliminating them one by one. She then erased all mankind’s destructive creations and made them realize all their mistakes.
In the end, Humans came back to God and surrendered their lives upon him. They also kept Justice and Bravery within their hearts and swore to do their best in reinforcing equity and courage on every decision they make.
