“Your name is Quirrel You must keep walking. You mustn’t look back Guard that mask with your life You will know when it is time to return home”
@mythandlaur‘s Keep Walking has been on my list of fics to make art for way too long.
mythandlaur replied to your post: we fucked up terraria
how dare you spoil the true final boss of 1.3.6
my bad
I’m not actually entirely sure what this is, though I know it’s color enhanced. I’m no mineral whiz but I do think they’re gorgeous, so I was really happy when my parents got me this over the holidays! Maybe once I have some more cash I can start a real collection!
~mythandlaur
This is a beautiful treated quartz! I love it. Thank you so much for sharing and we would love to see your future collection additions as well!
I may have got slightly inspired by @mythandlaur‘s Idari ^.^:; Made the hat brim too wide for fedora but it was a fun draw anyway!
Chimerical wiiiiiith... Crystal?
From this, Chimerical: merely imaginary; fanciful
The sun stood at high noon over the wastes, light penetrated each crack and crevice, leaving no shade to stand in. Beneath it all, however, the caves remained devoid of sunshine, yet emanating with a magically radiant orange glow. Gemstones lines the walls, floors and ceilings, providing nooks and crannies for all sorts of crystalline life to inhabit. Amongst the life within the caves, Crystal seemed to fit right in without a suspicion. She wandered the caves, as she often did to revisit the days of old. It was here that she gained this form, and it was in this place that her loved ones had perished.
Crystal gazed into the reflections of the clear-cut geodes, their pastel orange translucence reflecting a warm glow over the cave. Inside, she swore she could see something, part geological deformity, part imagination. She squinted and looked deeper into the translucent mineral. The image became clear: A girl sat with her family at a kitchen table, together they enjoyed a family meal, joking and conversing as families do. She swore she could see them moving, standing up from the table and packing their things. But the light must be playing tricks on her, she knew there was no girl, and yet, there the family was, a life she was forced to leave behind.
The beams of light reflected wondrously over the cave as she reached an aquifer, reflections danced over the ceiling and sent blots of orange across the entire cavern. Crystal watched broadly and simply took in the beauty of it all. She was simply euphoric seeing the darkened cavern covered in vibrancy. The water caught her eye, as tiny crystalline formations beneath the spring seemed to move beneath the surface. They gave her a pure feeling of warmth, seeing the differently shaped geodes in a circle around a single large mineral. She thought of home, her family, the ones she loves who would never leave her behind.
Crystal sat beside the lake and began to cry.
