in relation to the mythcrashers abortion post, the depression/ infertility part interested me most because i went to a catholic school where they forced you to go to an anti-abortion mass and rally each year and they would get this woman who had an abortion to speak to us and she always said that she was infertile because of it and super depressed after having one and all kinds of things. so while i’m pro-choice, that always stuck out to me because here it was coming from a woman who had an abortion so it had to be true. but now i wonder did she have a “back alley abortion” which would have been unsafe and if the person who did it didn’t know what they were doing could have messed something up causing her to be infertile? like what are all of the variables in her case. i also often wondered if she was lying about having an abortion at all because let me tell you, the people around here who are pro-life are such scumbags that i wouldn’t put it past them.
